We ate here before going on to the Improv show. The restaurant had a good vibe and the host was very personable. The food was okay but no more than that.
We stopped by just by chance and were so happy we did. The restaurant has a lot of atmosphere. The staff is warm and friendly and the food is sooooo gooood.
My wife had the manicotti and I had the gnocchi with lobster cream sauce, Both meals were very good. James our server was terrific. We finished with delicious cappuccino cake,
Had the pleasure of randomly picking an Italian restaurant in the North End. Franco, the owner and mature d’ greeted us on the curb as we walked by and asked us to join him for dinner. As we said sure, he walked us to a beautiful outdoor table and suggested our first appetizer. From there the wine, bread and service were outstanding. Franco then asked us what we wanted for dinner and just like that we had two great meals, eggplant lasagna and cavatelli with Bolognese, Both dishes were excellent and we would order again. Rounded out dinner with crème brûlée and two limoncello , great dining experience.
I set up a special night out for dinner for my daughters 18th birthday. Only instead her and her friends were ignored by the staff and got treated horribly. They never had anyone even come to greet them or take a drink order. Parties around them came and left before they even received their food. I understand, I used to wait tables, you see a big group of 18 year olds and think “great, that’s a crappy tip”. However that is no excuse for how they were treated last night. My daughter was so excited for this dinner out with her friends and the lack of any service at this restaurant really put a d as damper on their night. She said the food was good, but that was about it.
Very authentic. Right down to most of the staff speaking Italian. Not a very large place. Conveniently located to the center/close to hotels. The canneloni and Fettuccine Bolognese were good. If you go on a Friday or Saturday, make reservations. We made reservations for Sunday at 5. Wasn't needed at the time, but the restaurant filled up pretty quick after.
We visited Dolce Vita on a recommendation from a friend. The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. The tortellini fromagia, gnocchi and chicken Parmesan were all amazing. The Caesar salad was weird and a bit fishy. But overall we were very pleased.
If your looking for a quiet comfy place with AMAZING food then Dulce Vita is the place!! The Stuffed Shells are Amazing!! Live Violin playing! It's so nice.
Once again they out did themselves. Veal Parmigiano was over the top. Corner table, romantic dinner with my wife Erin Senato.
Food was under average, saying the least… Service was bad, the waiter had no tolerance at all. We felt unwelcome, had an unpleasant experience will not recommend to our friends.
