One of the worst experiences here this morning. Came in and there were a bunch of guys ordering at the counter, that's fine, I didn't mind waiting in line. What I didn't appreciate was when other men came in and just cut in front of me and I was completely ignored by the women behind the counter. Finally, someone asked what I wanted in their language and I told them in English (I don't speak Vietnamese), but then someone else was still helped ahead of me. Wasn't until I was about to walk out when they finally acknowlegded my order. Felt a little like because I didn't speak the language, they thought it was ok to help others first. And to make it worse-I ordered the grilled chicken banh mi--chicken was extremely dry. Like days old cut up rotisserie chicken, including a piece of bone!!!! NEVER AGAIN!
Had the chao long and the bun Bo hue. It tasted very homemade and was enjoyable. Waitress was so sweet. What a great store for banh mi and to sit down and eat too. Very fair prices and you only see Vietnamese people here so it’s legit!
Love the bahn mi, very good along with the strawberry smoothie
Very welcoming and helpful staff (and visiting customers!) to a visiting family who didn't speak Vietnamese. Delicious beef banh mi, with crisp bread, tender and flavorful beef, and generous vegetables and pickles. Really nice milk boba tea, and a chewy, tasty slice of what I think was banh da lon, or a steamed and flavored cake of sticky rice flour.
Very nice and caring staff. One suggested I tried the fresh fruit drinks for better health and I did. All their food has good flavor.
Came here to try the bahn mi at the suggestion of a friend. I had the King Do bahn Mi special and while it was very enjoyable I would say that Ba Le's bahn mi which is half a mile down the street are a much better offering with crispier bread and is around $6 while the King Do special is $8. Ba Le also bakes their own bread but I'm not sure about King Do.I also had the hot coffee which was very good, tastes like Trung Nguyen brand viet coffee and you get a whole styrofoam cup of it for $3.5, at least if you get it to go.
Bought a rice cake. It was medium rare.. aka half uncooked.
When I came here I ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 spring rolls, yet they only gave me 2 spring rolls and no sandwiches. When I complained to them after paying, they gave me one sandwich, and a soup. The sandwich had all leftover fat, and the rice soup they gave me which I never asked for also seemed to have random things inside.
Love coming here, there staff is really friendly. I have been coming here 2-3 years already. I love everyone in here. Especially their coffee is best in Boston area ( my personal opinion ?)Love from Kim
Vietnamese food, yummy and reasonable price to take out.
