I ate there today with my daughter for the first time. I got the seafood platter and my daughter got the truffle mac & cheese. We were both extremely satisfied with the food. The service was also excellent. Great place I will definitely be going back.
Absolutely wonderful. Jeremiah is fantastic. The drinks are wonderful. The food was just as good. You have to come to JJ Police café!
I come here on a regular weekday for lunch as I work just a block over. I have had everything on the lunch menu. But today I had the French Dip Sandwich.Let me tell you about this sandwich. Roast beef cooked perfectly on a toasted sub roll. The cheese melted perfectly along with caramelized onions between the melted cheese and roast beef. Alone this sandwich is delicious. But once you dip it into the beef au jus, absolutely to die for.Bartender Mike told me to go for it and I believed him not to do me wrong. This sandwich truly is amazing. The atmosphere is also great for a nice bar you want to go for lunch and have some simple drinks during or after dinner.Anyone that wants a roast beef I highly recommend getting the French Dip sandwich.
Authentic Irish pub in Boston, the Sheppard’s pie special was amazing and even on a slammed night my bartender was friendly and gave some recommendations for my visit
We stopped in on a chilly February day after visiting SoWa. We tried three burgers: Mr. Foley’s favorite, the cowboy, and hellfire. OMG best burgers we’ve ever had hands-down! Hand formed and cooked to perfection with perfect toppings and accompaniments. Our companion had to try the fish and chips and was not disappointed! Gigantic pieces of fish with the fries also cooked to perfection. One slight deduction for the batter on the fish being too thick and therefore didn’t cook through all the way so there was some raw batter. Great Irish pub vibe, very cozy and the service was excellent! Highly recommend!
Awesome place to be. Great time
Really enjoyed this place. Food was great service was great! We would go there again!
walked to JJ Foley's after taking in the Van Gogh exhibit at SoWa - amazing mac and cheese balls and corned beef Ruben sandwich. Friendly staff and a properly poured Guinness, cozy pub atmosphere get's this historic establishment a five star review from me!
It was good for a fast bite and a beer. We had a BLT, Burger, Onion soup and onion rings. All were good. Service was great. Prices reasonable. No complaints. I would recommend it.
It’s not what you think! It’s a “neighborhood” pub but it has good food! The space is historic and interesting to check out. One of the only spots open during the day in that area for alcohol. Bartenders are super friendly!
