Great little bar to rest your weary feet after touring Boston. The local company is great and the bartender really knows how to make those Cosmopolitan drinks. I will definitely be back when we back in Boston. Will definitely miss that great bartender Paul. Great guy!!!
Great atmosphere, good drinks…but the bar tender was less than accommodating. Walked in as the only customers and the bar tender was watching TV very loudly. Ordered our drinks and asked that he turn it down a bit…he refused. Asked again, still refused. When we got ready to leave he claimed that it was a cash only bar. Didn’t see that posted anywhere. He must have really loved that show…
J.J. Donovan's made our trip. We stopped in by chance and had so much fun that we came back every night. Paul and Chris were absolutely fantastic and took great care of our group. It's a great blend of locals and visitors that makes for the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a drink (or two...). Will 100% be back. Highly recommend!
A hidden gem of the Faneuil Hall area that attracts both a great local crowd and many visiting from out of town. Paul and Chris create a great environment with reasonable priced drafts and friendly service and there are enough TVs to sit down and watch a game.
What's with people saying this is a hidden gem? It's literally in the most touristy spot in the city. It's a no frills bar that doesn't try at all and it's cash only. If that's your thing, this place is great.
Easily one of my favorite bars in Boston. I stop in here a few days a week after work for a few hours and I have never had a single problem with the staff or the building itself. The bartenders are excellent and always very welcoming and do a great job at keeping the bar clean. You also won't find better prices anywhere in the area. I couldn't recommend it highly enough to both locals and those passing through!
This bar was absolutely awesome. Stopped in by chance and it became our go to every night. Chris and Paul were working and were an absolute blast. Everyone who walked in for “just one” stayed for hours. The music was on point and I highly recommend you make it a point to stop in when you are in the area! 100/10 would send everyone here.
My favorite bar in the area. The music is great but I like that the bar will do game volume for big playoff games. Great prices and great staff. Would definitely recommend checking it out.
One of the coolest old-school Boston bars I’ve ever been in really enjoyed myself I’ve been there several times and the bartender Paul could’ve been more accommodating and friendly really enjoyed the experience!!
Came for a shot and a beer and stayed for the bartender. We love it here! The customer service is top notch and it’s the best environment for new friends. Cash only but there’s an ATM on premise so it’s not a problem for us. Incomparable experience.
