This place is absolutely disgusting, and should be shut down by the health department.. You can see the filth and grime of the kitchen from the front counter. The place smells like sewerage.
Ordered several plates for a small group and very disappointed with the oxtail and curry shrimp plates. Can't eat oxtail from just anywhere so I'm not totally surprised. These restaurants need to get oxtail cooking from the early morning or use a pressure cooker.. or just take it off the menu. The stew chicken and king fish were on point though.

Another epic fail for Grub Hub, this time thanks to Island Style at 183 Washington St., Boston MA. My order of jerk pork arrived cold and without the promised sides of rice, vegetables and fried plantains. The routine Grub Hub refund was no consolation -- I'm hungry, recovering from brain surgery, and without a venicle.Had to order the missing items from Delicias in Jamaica Plain, which saved the day. Excellent: for those of you who like Caribbean food, albeit with a Latin flavor, give them a try.Never again, Island Style. You only get one star because there's no option for a 0.
Not to busy but little slow
My first time ordering food there. It was not too bad I must say. I had the curry goat with a side of Mac and cheese pie. I wish they had a bigger space. The two young ladies in there are nice. They are doing the best they can but for the sake of parking spaces, they will probably need to hire more people to shorten the line and wait time.
Quick delivery. Sunday night Order oxtail with rice & plaintains as the menu says got unseasoned oxtails & rice no plaintains & somehow macaroni & cheese i didn't order missing the dumplings for the second order so we called & was just told well im sorry. 1st time trying them & last Ill be making the trip to only one instead as I should have. Worth the ride.
They don’t do call in orders!The space is so small but they ask for 6 ft apart. I don’t get how that’s even possible in there.I ordered 5-6 plates and it took 1 hour to make the order and get it prepped in bags.Im not joking it literally took the servers and register clerks 1 hour to make my order and finish packing it upIm pretty sure when I go home and see all the plates they forgot something.They need to do better.Atleast take over the phone orders with debit card/ credit card so people that have a job and lives to get to can make it in time for lunch.Also the clerk rang me up wrong.The people work very slow service.
Great service, nice and friendly. Food was amazing for the 1st time. They have a carrot juice that hit the spot. Coming from Cambridge for this food was worth it.
WORST JAMAICAN RESTAURANT in boston. ordered for the first time yesteday and didn’t receive any of my sides for both orders. How do they mess up twice? never again. abs sloppy presentation, food was everywhere
