As a concert venue this place is awesome. Cool acts, great sound, awesome bars all the way around and easy access. Here's my complaint. I went to Royal Blood with my wife and 20 year old daughter. They weren't drinking so the person gave them two HUGE "X"s on each hand and I got a bright yellow wristband since I decided to partake.Once inside I went to the bar to get a beer and a coke for my wife and daughter to split. After 15 minutes or so we were escorted for the door (rather embarrassingly) by security who accused my wife of having an alcoholic drink and splitting her drink with my daughter. We showed her the "X"s and explained to them it was a Pepsi, we even told her to drink it. She apologized and they escorted us (almost) back to our original location. This was a general admission show so we lost maybe a "row" due to this. They apologized but once they realized they were wrong they really were curt and just wanted to move on. If you think splitting of drinks is an issue then you need to serve the non-alcoholic drinks in a different cup or something because the giant doodles on our hands aren't cutting it obviously. How about going after all the vaping instead since you have all the damn signs about it everywhere.
First time here! Watched a concert and really enjoyed it ! Good vibes and good drinks. Staff was friendly and helpful! Would come here again!
Great music venue! They consistently have artists playing. There is a floor option as well as seating options (like at a concert hall) for those who don’t like to stand all night. This is great considering at a lot of clubs trying to get seating means that you’d have to get a table, which is often thousands of dollars. Sound quality is great. I went to see Said the Sky and he was amazing!! Arrived about 45min or so before the official start time and got to see the opening acts which were good as well (plus no wait time to get into the venue).Cocktails from the bar were not good at all. I doubt they put any alcohol if any. Don’t plan on buying any drinks if you come here!
Came from upstate NY to see Oliver Tree with a local friend. For those coming in that don't like to drive in the city, I parked at Alewife, took the T to the Green Line, then got off at Kenmore. Venue was really neat! Had a lot of character. Staff were very quick to get wristbands to everyone in line, which I appreciated a lot because it was FREEZING outside! Definitely would consider coming back. But won't be getting standing room next time. Not enough room for how many people they let in.
An eclectic venue with so much to go around. A lot of room to get up close if you want to be immersed in the sound, and enough space if you want to be careful about the volume. It being in the heart of Fenway grants it so many pregame options for food, drink, and places to schmooze before a show. Always a great time!
A fantastic place to see a show! This smaller sized theater is for 1800 people. Great sound, very clean, super staff and easy check in process. Parking nearby and plenty of nightlife surrounding the club. Can get a bit busy on Yawkey Way when the Sox are in town, so plan accordingly. I go to HofB several times a years.
Been coming to the house of blues Boston for years. Never had a bad experience. Security is mostly friendly and quick getting through. Huge clean bathrooms and a million bars. Parking can be rough if not reserved ahead of time. Covid restrictions are done with - cards/tests/masks.

Went and saw Ministry the Melvins and Corrosion of Conformity was an awesome show awesome venue!
Awesome venue, the staff were really nice. I wouldn't want to stand on the floor for an entire concert but I was in the stadium level seating which was nice and comfortable. For some reason it took a long time to get inside, I got in line when the doors were supposed to open, and it took about two hours for everyone to get inside, so the concert was delayed about an hour. No way of knowing if this was anyone's fault in particular or if something unexpected happened. They did have people checking vaccination cards while we were in line outside, so I don't think it was that. They used a bracelet system for vacc verification (and I think alcohol purchasing but I didn't buy any alcoholic drinks so I'm not sure). In any case, the staff stayed calm and upbeat, and the fans were pretty chill waiting as well.
