great food variedad great service, music a bit too loud

Looks like unique and comfy place for a drink, but service is a bit slow.
It was our first time in the restaurant and the waitress was very rude and acting like she did not want to serve us, anyways we were the only non-Dominicans at the place I guess that was the problem, and then they charged us $20 for 5 shrimp $20 for salmon and $6 for the mash potatoes and it’s funny because this was supposed to be a single plate, we asked and she just said we need to sign the receipt and pay… very disappointing visit.
This is by far my worst experience ever dining out. I was craving authentic Spanish food and and nice atmosphere. Everything was going smooth when the host seated us. Then they took a turn for the worst. Our waitress was either having a really bad day or just didn't like us. She never introduced herself to the table. Also our food came out cold. I'm not sure if I will ever go back to this place.
I went with my 3 friends because I friend really recommended food here so Food was really good!But Waitress was sooooo rude! She made us feel really uncomfortable! When we sat we had to waived to get her attention, she took our order like we were asking for a favor from herOr something like that!We asked for churrasco and she didn’t even ask how we liked it cook!So I think security guy realized that we were really uncomfortable and switched waitress and after that went well!Really good food though!
Purchased sancocho thinking it was with chicken but it was a combination of pork and beef. It was surprisingly pretty good.
We came to have dinner on Friday night here, the music was incredibly loud, so we ask if they could lower the volume since we were the only customer there, and they say No, horrible service would not be back and I don’t recommend this place only if you want very loud music.
Looking for Dominican food? Please do yourself a favor and go try guira y tambora, really tasty authentic Dominican food. They have Outdoor seating in summer, beer, cocktails. Great atmosphere. It can get a little loud inside at nights, so If you want a relax meal go during the day.
The waiter was horrible! She was not interested in our experience. She was more self observed into herself and her cell phone. She ordered the wrong food and then the right order was dry and tastleless without an apology. The music is beautiful but extremely loud. The place needs more light as well. Save your taste buds, time, and money! I will NEVER come back here again! My first time & last time!
