Decent food in a fun setting. There are a ton of options around this part of Harvard Ave., and you won’t go wrong with a plate or wrap from this spot.
The people that work there are so warm and friendly. The person serving me that day always gives me a smile. Also, the food is delish.
This place has solid shawarma. I recommend the Kafta Burger.
Very poor customer service. and slow service. Confused employees at the front.
It was one of the best restaurants when the owner managed by himself the workers not from middle east they never know the real shawarma. The beef shawarma not grilled at all it looks like boiled. On the last two visits I grilled it at home in my ovin.
We absolutely enjoyed the catering food we got from Garlic & Lemons. Delicious kebab buffet and great falafel with tasty sauces. Our entire family & friends loved all of the food and we admired how everything was packaged. Will definitely order again. :D
I love Garlic n Lemons. The spicy chicken shawarma plate never disappoints. I don’t live in Allston anymore but I still make the trip for the food. Definitely worth it!!
This is the only place in Boston that has never disappointed me. Fresh food always. No matter what you order, the food quality is never compromised. I would recommend this place to everyone for sure.
This unassuming place on the busiest street in Allston is easy to be overlooked. However, if you are curious enough to find out what made this average-looking shop survive and thrive the pandemic, enter through their glass vestibule and you’ll know exactly why. This Mediterranean place is friendly, down to earth, and very generous in serving. The owner greets every guest personally and will walk you through the line patiently. The amount that he scoops and packing into that bowl/plate will take you two meals to finish. Yet when you pay at the cashier, you’ll find out that that likely 2-pound heavy bowl only costs $15 including tax.Places like Lemon n’ Garlic in the post-pandemic Allston is a rare find. Allston, for anyone who knows it, is a neighborhood crowded with rich foreign kiddos who don’t concern about money and help foster a flock of overpriced restaurants. Yet this Mediterranean restaurant can hold its integrity, continues to serve fresh, large portions and charge only a very reasonable price is a noble contrarian to our money-worshipping age.I applaud the owner of this place for keeping up his/her principles as a business owner and encourage anyone who ever stops by Allston to give them a try. You’ll know why I mean.(The pictures don’t serve this place justice, probably because their food is only made to please the stomach, not the cameras.)
One of my favorite places. Always delicious ?
