My favorite spot for lunch in Roslindale. Great sandwiches, salads, and pastries.
I had a cup of the corn chowder and the roasted carrots with rosemary. Delicious. I also ordered the turkey melt that I'm saving for dinner. Service was polite and helpful.
Great bread, great sandwiches. Cozy cafe with some seating and a very homey vibe.

I absolutely love coming here. I stopped in a few weeks ago to grab a baguette for a soup I was making, and they always have a great stock of super fresh bread. Highly recommend! They also have a Cafe where they make delicious sandwiches. Wait times can vary based on how busy they are.
Awesome local bakery. The smell of the fresh baked bread alone is worth a visit.
Little country style bakery in Roslindale.Glad that an independent bakery like this is doing well despite all the Tattes and Flour that are dominating greater Boston. That being said, I think I would only maybe go here again if I happened to be in the neighborhood. There are plenty of freshly baked options which is nice but the quality of the items I wish were better. The baguette was far from a baguette, more like a long version of a grocery store Italian loaf. Decent chew and so I decided to use it for a sub. The English muffins did not resemble or taste anything like what you would associate them to be. I would have tried their semi-sourdough but it was already sold out by mid morning. I felt like I was in a quaint town in Connecticut when walking in. Sure, I'll support them and try it out again, but I will have to think hard as to what to purchase.
Stopped by this location in our wanderings for a light snack. The breads are incredibly fresh. Bought a loaf of sourdough to take home based on local recommendations. Must continue to support this business- month-watering!
