Great little cafe to grab a quick breakfast. Delicious pastry and baked goodies. Definitely put this stop on your list!
What can I say. My husband discovered Flour Bakery as it was close to our hotel It was so good......... We returned the next day and the day after that!!! Amazing food and the staff were delightful. So friendly, cheery and a credit to the business. We even got a takeaway the day we were leaving. I highly recommend a visit any time you're in Boston. We'll definitely be back the next time we holiday here. 5 *
Pleasant dining for family lunch. Good selection of pastry, coffee drinks and sandwiches. The sandwiches were notable and very tasty - bread and ingredients fresh and completed in a timely fashion. Close to Boston Childrens Museum.
Best cafe so far in Boston. Skip dunkin. Terrific coffee and pastries! It’s one of the best coffees I’ve had anywhere including all the places I tried in NYC. I think the secret is the locally sourced almond/oat milk. The Boston cream pie needed a bit less cream but that’s just me. Free self serve water, relaxing decor to just chill or perhaps get some work done. This location was spacious with 2 bathrooms as well!
We stopped in mid-day for a snack while walking around Boston. The coconut cream pie was delicious - one of the best we have had. The lemon limeade was also great - so refreshing. There are many amazing looking bakery items on display. Quiche and pizza are also available. The pie was so good that we dove in and forgot to take a picture. ?
Nice place with high quality desserts. I got 3 cake slices (all $6 each), a double chocolate cookie ($3) and a raspberry crumb bar ($4).My favorite cake was a toss up between the carrot cake or coconut cream pie.The carrot cake was heavy which is what I prefer and the cake itself was nice n sweet, along with the great frosting. The coconut cream pie had a unique, tropical flavor that I haven’t tasted before. It was very good. Now the Boston crème pie slice was okay. It was airy, but didn’t have much flavor. The top chocolate layer wasn’t anything special. The double chocolate cookie was bomb. Not very big, but had a nice rich flavor with plenty of chocolate chunks.Unfortunately, the raspberry crumb bar is overpriced. It does have a pleasant buttery crumb topping and uses real raspberries, but it’s tiny and at $4, not worth
Decided to pick up some treats to go. Nice little bakery not far from the hotel. Ordered: scones, Lemon ginger, chocolate, cheddar chive; a sticky bun, croissant—everything was enjoyed by the group I was with.
Great sandwiches and pastries. Good place to eat outside with shade. Ramp access as well. There is a public bathroom. Kid friendly. With more options in the area in the last few years it is popular but not as packed - still would order ahead on lunches during the weekdays.
Just about the best Boston Cream Sponge Cake ever, and right in time too! THANK YOU!!!
Delicious food and piping hot drinks. Excellent selection.
