Really enjoyed the food here it was really tasty & had some of the best tasting Mexican food around Boston. The carne asada plate was fantastic beef was really delicious and was cooked just the way I wanted it. The beef tostada was another great choice, it was great as an appetizer had that nice crunchy first bite. The enchiladas were really good the chicken was nice & tasty as was the beans & the sals verde & salsa roja, my on issue was the rice that had some of over cooked and was a little hard. The drinks I would recommend the mojito cocktail really good, I also got the tamarind margarita which was ok not really as good as the mojito. Overall this place is great small but cozy. Will definitely be coming back soon.

Best tacos in all of Boston!! They have a great taco Tuesday as well. Pedro is such a character! He gave us free chips, salsa, and guacamole because the kitchen was running behind. He also made me a complimentary hibiscus tea and it was so refreshing! I asked him what it was and mentioned that I really enjoyed it so he brought me out a gallon size ziplock of hibiscus leaves to make my own at home! And then at the end of the meal he brought us out an extra taco saying the kitchen had made too many. His personality and generosity is unmatched. This is our favorite place to go to in the South End not only for the food but for the service as well.

The server failed to inform us that there were peanuts in the Mole sauce causing a member of my party to have a reaction.Aside from the negligence, the food is okay, slightly overpriced (~$17+ for a standard entree plate) but portions are good.Tacos are okay/plain tasting ($5/taco) there are better places to get tacos.Drinks are well priced (~$6-7 for a beer). The place is cozy and a cute date spot in the area.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant not just in the South End but all of Boston! The menu is authentic and delicious with many options. True Mexican flavors and spices! The staff is so hardworking and friendly. The drinks are cold and delicious. You cannot go wrong with this place. I can't wait until the patio opens again as the outdoor dining is so lovey on the South End's beautiful streets. I'll be back soon. Oh and don't forget Taco Tuesday. Now that's something to Tacobout

Excellent dinner! Great service.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Pedro is amazing, the food is amazing, drinks are great. Best tacos in Boston. Hands down. What a hidden gem!

10 out of 10, 5 star, perfecto!!Service by Pedro was absolutely amazing. He is the brother of the owner, Gabriel and both of them were awesome!! The place was completely full and him and one other gal were going non-stop servicing everyone, and with how attentive he was to us, you would've thought we were the only people in the restaurant. Add in the fact each of our food dishes and our drinks that we ordered tasted amazing and it was a perfect dining experience.Needless to say, this will not be the last time we come to El Centro!

I highly recommend this restaurant, great food, great drinks and most importantly great service. Pedro, was amazing and he went above and beyond to provide an outstanding experience. Definitivamente regresaré a este lugar!

Genuinely alot of great options especially for vegans but, good food and great service genuinely!

Don't think I'll be back after tonight's experience. I simply ordered a chicken burrito for pickup and was told it would be a 35 min wait. I was not in a rush, so I waited and arrived at the specified time. I get there and the staff seemed confused as to why I was even there. Tell them the order number and my name, they still look confused and rush back to the kitchen. They say it'll be right out, even though what clearly happened was they lost the order. It finally comes out and the guy just hands it to me, no apology or explanation for the delay. I go home and start eating, and it turns out I was handed a BEAN burrito, no chicken involved. These guys might need to try something else, burritos to go are too difficult!
