Not at all please stood at the window at 3:00 in the afternoon for 15 mins an no one walked up to take the order. I even asked if anyone was here. Sign was one an windown was open but no one to be found .. disappointed
Ehhh. I read that this was the original location. I was very excited. It's a small building in the commons. There was one person working, which I understand. It's winter, people mostly just want hot chocolate. But I wanted a sandwich. At this place called Earl of sandwich. The person who worked there took our order after we waited for them to finish the previous order which was a sandwich. But took all the people in line after us and gave them their drinks before working on our sandwich. Again, I sort of understand it but it's not a good feeling as the person watching everybody else get what they ordered despite being later in line.I don't feel like the sandwich was amazing. I've had Earl of sandwich in other locations and they're bigger and it just felt like it tasted better. Maybe the wait put a bitter taste in my mouth but I usually try to be unbiased when it comes to the food part.
I’ll admit it, this was far better food than I’d anticipated from a former bathroom. I went with the original (roast beef, cheddar, and horseradish), which wouldn’t be my norm. It was what the guy recommended when I asked if they were famous for anything in particular (we’ll, after he responded “delicious hot sandwiches.”) He was right on both counts. Delicious sandwich, and surprisingly so for being something I wouldn’t normally pick.Close to plenty of historical sites, or primed for a spot on the Common, and right priced. Would definitely bring friends, and next time I might remember to try the ice cream.
I'm so glad we stopped here during our visit to the park instead of going to a nearby restaurant. The service was so friendly and the food was delicious...will definitely be coming back whenever I return to Boston!
Great food , great service, Great location. A+
Forgot how delicious these sandwiches are. Soooo good. Priced right
Visiting for the day and this place had an amazing sandwich! I got “The Earl’s Club” which had a really delicious sauce on it. Not over priced so would recommend if you are in the area.
Earl of Sandwich has been a favorite of mine since my time working at Disney World a few years ago. Stumbled upon this location in Boston and am so happy. I was able to order online while holding a table. Good was ready when it said it would be.
I'm a local and got the earls club and it was so delicious! I was scared it was going to be mediocre because it's in a touristy area (boston common) but it was surprisingly sooo good! I'll definitely be going back
Fast service and the sandwiches were toasty and delicious as always. Full of ingredients and fresh. Crispy bread not soggy. I always love going to Earl of Sandwich.
