The food was excellent and atmosphere was great! Really enjoyed it.

Good experience

1) They have plastic screens separating each table. Really unclassy and makes you feel like you are sitting in a tight space. 2) Makis are too big and don’t look really appealing. Taste is average as well. Overall disappointed with the place especially given the price. Not good value for money.

But if a mixed bag. Some dishes were fantastic like the tuna tataki, the gyoza and the shumai. The Phoenix Roll was very well liked as well. Calamari was light and yummy. Noodles were sadly awful, tasted of bad oil. Some of the other rolls like Mt.Fuji and spider roll were surprisingly low on flavor. Ambiance is sterile - could use some artwork. Busy staff a bit overwhelmed so not as attentive to needs, but friendly and helpful when we had their attention.

Food was off the charts. Service, OK. Prices, high. The food was that good though.

Our server was amazing. She kicked off our weekend on a high note. Passionate about her recommendations. I go to Douzo frequently. Always a delight.

Had the XO toro and chef’s choice of sushi. Everything ws really good; fresh fisk and presented beautifully. I will be back next time i Boston

Went for my Bday. We split some appetizers to start. The toro was AMAZING… served flaming so you could sear. Wow!! We split 3 rolls and they were all great….Douza special, fried crab and tuna . Added surprise was hot lava cake with vanilla ice cream given for my Bday. Service was excellent and dinner was very quick out if kitchen!

Food was delicious as always.

Great hotspot for Sushi right next to Back Bay Station. Stunningly large picture menu, great rolls and strong drinks. They also validate parking in their building's garage for only $5! Very rare in Boston
