Wonderful meal and beautiful ambiance. Service was friendly but a tad slow. We didn’t feel rushed which was nice. The only gripe is lobster tail with my steaks had no meat on it, it was very ‘petite’. Otherwise a great dining experience and will be back yet again.
Dirty martinis were excellent. Mashed potato and creamed spinach also excellent. Steak was a bit of a let down. For the price, I was expecting top notch. Not so much. Dry aged prime strip, medium rare, lacked flavor and was chewy.
Del Fresco’s is my favorite high end steak restaurant and the Boston Seaport location is spectacular. But I think they too are experiencing the post COVID staffing challenges. Our waitress seemed to be assigned way too many tables and my ribeye was cooked perfectly but actually arrived cold…. Valet parking was a disaster coming and going.
Great atmosphere. Fabulous food. Fantastic service.
I’ve been to Del Frisco’s quite a few times and the service and food has gradually fallen. Waiter took a very long time to greet us. Our drinks took a really long time. The lobster Bisque was super salty and tasted like a tomato can. I asked for steak sauce and was also charged for that. The waitress brought up “affordable” plates. 3/10 won’t be returning.
The hostess spilled the full glass of water on my wife no apology no manager came out to check on us !!! We were sitting next to a speaker that was so loud we had to ask them if they could turn the music down. food was average at best and we overpriced this was our second time here and I must say this experience was very poor and we won’t be back.
We were seated at a 4 top right outside the door to the deck. Every time anyone opened the door, it knocked into the back of my chair. At one point a server dropped a tray right behind my chair. Fortunately the steak knife and the plate that flew off the tray narrowly missed me. The manager did come out to apologize but did not offer any compensation. In addition, we all ordered a salad and appetizers and sides. The Caesar salad was literally just a few leaves of romaine on a plate with some croutons, Parmesan and dressing. I couldn’t believe they charged $20 for that salad! Aside from the amazing view looking out over boston harbor and the great cocktails, I was very disappointed with my experience. It was no where near what I would expect from a top steakhouse.
Great service from Jasmine and she has a great sense of humor. This was our second visit to Del Friscos and we would recommend highly.
We order the tomahawk steak for two. It was cooked to perfection and was outstanding. The sides were great. For an appetizer we ordered the tuna tartare. It was outstanding. Our server had only worked there for two weeks but she was outstanding. She had a thorough knowledge of the menu and was helpful in our decision. Definitely be back.
The food was fantastic but the service kept rushing us. Was pulling the vegetables before people were done eating and brought the check before we were even close to being done
