Good for a special day.A literally fine Italian resaurant focusing on steaks.(but I had a little hard time to spot steaks on the menu, it was lunchtime..) The tast was more than great.Stunning dessert, too with no regret. I would recommend this place if I were given any chance to my acquaintances.

We made reservations and arrived early for a drink at the bar. The bar service has deteriorated...bartenders seem inexperienced and constantly milling around near each other. Not the very professional, friendly staff they usually have. We also told the host before our reservation that we were having a drink at the bar and they said they would come and get us. They never came. We had to go back over and remind them that we were sitting there and had reservations. They seated us late and then we waited for way too long for a drink. Then more waiting for taking our apps and entrees orders. We tried the Egg Rolls, which were good but skimpy, 3 for $22 was too high. The Pasta dishes were flavorful but pricey $29-$35 Our waiter was missing for long periods of time. Overall, the food was good but the service was not equal to the prices and the restaurant they used to be. Then they gave after dinner treats to some tables at the end of their meal but not to ours. This restaurant used to feel like a special occasion restaurant. Not sure we would go back...

Our family of four came into Davio’s in our tourist casual clothes and the staff had no problem with us. The bread we got before dinner was so delicious and warm. Then we got to the main courses and were blown away. My kids were well fed and happy. The pasta I had was fabulous and so was my steak. Well done!

I ordered a so called warm spinaces salads at your restaurant located at the Bos Logan Airport and thats what I got. The spinaces or any other component were not warm. A restaurant of your caliberber should be embarassed to serve a salad like this and charge 15 dollars for it.

We visited here for a corporate dinner with colleagues, quite a large table for 8. The venue was extremely crowded, too hot, noisy and very uncomfortable. The food was average, but expensive. The tables were so closely packed the waiters could barely get between them to serve the meals, or manoeuvre the dessert trolley. Service was average, but meals weren't brought together and some of our guests were waiting for their mains while others had almost finished their dinner. I suspect this is a much more pleasant environment on less busy nights, but its not a venue I would go back to.

Horrible service at Davio's. We had made reservations and still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Not sure why they give out so many reservations if they are not going to be able to seat everyone. Once we finally were seated our server didn't show up for an additional 25 minutes. The drinks we ordered finally showed up after our main courses. On top of that the food was just mediocre. Not the best steak. We were expecting much more from Davio's based on the prices.Overall would not recommend. There are much better steakhouses around that you would be better off going to.

I came here with close family for Easter Sunday and ordered a 14 Oz strip steak for my Easter Dinner. Unfortunately my request for a medium steak wasn’t met as it came back very well done the first time, rare the second time, and the third time came back and looked uneditable so unfortunately I had to walk out of the restaurant. I would rather much prefer Texas Roadhouse than this restaurant and that’s not an exaggeration. This place is not worth your money!

It was so good. Chocolate cake was so good. Their onion rings and Brussel sprouts were very oily and so greasy... I think the oil needs to change. The salmon was good.

Great service and delicious food. Asked for some butter and it came nicely presented in its appropriate dish. You will be surprised how hard is to have a decent presentation of butter. The bread and extra virgin olive oil were great. Details like this speak for themselves about how good a place is. Also they have a great selection of desserts.

I was in town on business with a coworker and we decided to try this place based on the reviews and the waterfront location. We arrived about 30 mins before our reservation time and they immediately gave us a table. My only complaint about the whole night was the table selection. We were seated at a table that had the waterfront view blocked by a wall. It appeared to be the only table in the whole place with a blocked view. Our server Megan and the food more than made up for the lack of a great view. Megan has the perfect personalty to be in the restaurant business. She is very friendly, funny and never let us want for anything!!!! The food was just as good as the service. I had the gnocchi and my coworker had the penne. Both were homemade and seasoned perfectly. My coworker thinks she is overweight and never eats much and usually only orders a salad. She actually almost finished her whole plate. THere was nothing left in mine but tears because I ran out!!!! We finished the night with the butter cake and what a perfect way to end a perfect dinner. I cant wait to eat here on my next trip to Boston.
