This is one of the best Pakistani food I’ve had. I love in Texas and this restaurant is better than the Pakistani food we have here. The customer service is the best and they treat all their customers very nicely and gives great recommendations. One thing that stood out was the naan, their naan was one of kind it’s better than any other naan I’ve had. I recommend their nihari, saag, and mango lassi. If you’re ever in Boston this place is must try. If you go, ask for the owner to give you his recommendation! The food was so good we went two days in a row!
First time visitor. Went there with high expectations but Darbar turned out to be a big disappointment as the food was infested with insects ? Unbelievable! Definitely can't recommend to anyone else or go back to this restaurant which is very unfortunate.
People who like good pakistani food would really enjoy this place. Authentic flavors and highlight is their tandoori roti and lachha paratha.
The food is really tasty and good quality. The ambience is pretty cozy and the staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Darbar restaurant is a family run food joint. Good verity of food and nice ambiance. Staff is friendly and quality of food is good too, tough I didn't like Nihari but I was compensated with BBQ items.
We have been to Darbaar a few times. This time around we saw changes, safe to say post covid changes. New Cutlery, full fledged menu etc. Generally it serves you delicious food - we love the magaz masala, balti ghost, Peshawar Naan, chicken Bihari boti. This time around they could not serve us magaz masala. Balti ghost which is there most expensive food on the menu wasn’t cooked properly. Others were ok.
Taste is just ok- not very good, not very bad. Menu items are pricey if you compare it with other restaurants. A day ago, I had a buffet and it was around $30 per person which is very high for the number of menu items they kept.
So bad food test even it's old food cooked they give us biryani but it's made before 2 days smell so bad ... also we order lamb as kind of meet in the food and they give us beef meat they think we are stupid so we will not test the different.. so bad experience with them.
This is my favorite curry joint in Boston. Their curries are really flavorful and well made--other Boston curry restaurants I've been to in the area have pretty bland curries without a lot of depth. I wonder if some people are put off by the very things that, to me, set Darbar's amazing curry apart--meat is stewed BONE-IN, so the curry has tons of amazing depth and robust flavor, instead of having meat that's dried out and bland.
This is worst place ever I visit in Boston. The waitress I was talking , I was trying to Choose the menu, she said “ I can’t wait , I m busy choose the menu quickly, what kind of behavior is this, that is her job she has to wait for customer response, and she has to give me time to choose my menu. How can I be so hurry? Wt kind of behavior this is. Even I was so gentle to her, so I need to ask her why she was so rude to me? What was her problem? This is her job , please be kind to your customer.
