Went on a Sunday for lunch but they only serve brunch. Very loud inside. $22 chicken and waffles was bad. Very dry and overcooked.
We came here because it was in walking distance of Downeast. We were not disappointed. Atmosphere was very hip, groovy for a Friday night. Service was fast. Food was veryyyy tasty. I wish the portions for appetizers were more clear. We got mushroom ravioli (not pictured) which only came with 2. But the hummus (pictured) was HUGE! You might want to ask first ??♀️Overall, we were so happy with this spot
I really want to give this place five stars. There's a lot to like. They've got some good options for food and for drinks, the staff has been great the two or three times I've been, and overall, a nice place to eat. Not wanting to devalue my other five-star ratings, I'll be a bit critical and say that the Brussel sprouts were a little too firm, the chicken and waffles were a little too dry, and not having a mac & cheese dish on their menu full-time is silly (it is on their kids menu and they have some sauce, maybe a chipotle aioli, that kicks it up a couple notches). A few years ago I added a scrambled egg to a tater tots dish (brunch menu) and that was great, now I don't see tots on the menu at all. Rotating menus keep things fresh, but at the cost of losing some favorites. Solid four and a half stars.
Awful service. Don’t try to have a party here. They don’t know what they are doing at all. They need to learn professionalism
We stopped here for dinner on our first night in Boston and were were blown away. The servers were so friendly and kind, and the food was delicious. We ordered drinks, burgers, shrimp and fish Tacos, poutine, raw oysters, and beignets for dessert. The oysters were super fresh and refreshing- and at a great price. The poutine was also great- it was better than poutine I've had in Canada! We devoured it all in no time. The highlight of our night, however, were the beignets. They were drizzled in peanut butter and chocolate, resting atop a soft bed of fluffy, white marshmallow spread. It was crispy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. For all the toppings on it, the beignets were actually not too sweet, but are instead perfect for the adult (or child!) palate. Overall, highly recommend!
An excellent location with excellent service and food. The food is delicious and the service was quick! Prices are absolutely reasonable. 5/5!
Awesome place, great food and good portions!
Had the lamb lollipops and bacon wrapped dates. Both were great. Had a pretty fantastic whiskey selection. We started with Weller CYPB and Whistle Pig 18. We were visiting from out of town and sat at the bar with Joseph taking care of us. He was personable, knowledgeable, and the reason we came back two days later.
First time visiting, was not overly impressed with the food. Spring rolls were bland, chicken wings were a little under cooked and the sauce made them soggy. Pork belly bites were tiny and overpriced for what you get. For entrée I tried a shrimp, Carnitas, and fish taco. Carnita was very dry, and had a consistency unlike anything I’ve ever had before. The fish taco had an unusually fishy taste, and was honestly unbearable to eat. (And I generally like fish tacos, not sure what type of fish they use) However, I will say the service was excellent, great atmosphere, and the specialty drinks were on point.
Fantastic service, great food. Lovely and cozy little corner spot. Even have cute little teacups for coffee mugs. Will definitely revisit whenever I come back to Boston
