A true southie neighborhood bar. Played pool with a guy who had been going there for 33 years. Some tips:- Pool is free, but you gotta put your name on the whiteboard to get on the list- Cash only- Drink bottled beer not the beer on draft- People are friendly, get to know them
Excellent service and not too rowdy, especially considering it is quite the dive.
My favorite bar in Boston. Everyone is talkative. Try out a game vs the pool regulars there, look up APA before though. Beers are cheap. Lara is a mix between a mother and a wild best friend, amazing. Haven't been here in a while, I hope its still open!
Best little spot I've been too in a little bit. The owner is super nice and the crowd can be a melting pot!

Popped in after lunch at Loco. Low key and divey in the best way possible. Cash only. Ice cold domestics. Know where you're going and respect the locals. Jerry is a great real deal bartender. A nice Tuesday afternoon respite!

Old, dark, loud and friendly. Perfect. Great little neighborhood bar with no frills and fun patrons. Even got to meet Rod Stewart.
