Great Vietnamese desserts and boba! Probably one of my favorite boba places on Newbury. High quality for a reasonable price. Also some of the best, and strongest, coffee in Boston.Don’t skip out on the viet desserts! Seriously great in the summer.
Mango mousse cake is perfect. Brought a tear to my eye. Fantastic service and good drinks.
As of 1/26/22 there are about 10 bubble tea shops on Newbury Street, that's right, ten! And as a boba fanatic I've tried them all -- Coco Leaf triumphs them all in terms of originality, taste and in-house made quality toppings. Their signature dessert drinks (Chè) are one of a kind in Boston. Their cup sizes are also larger, making their drink portion and value unbeatable. The owner is very friendly and offers suggestions and sometimes even secret drinks. If there was one bubble tea shop to rule them all, Coco Leaf is it!
If I can do zero star, I would definitely do exactly that! We ordered 3 drinks cuz it’s cold and rainy outside and we have nowhere to stay. Right after we paid for our drinks, they immediately pointed out that we cannot finish the cake we ordered elsewhere. Tell us that beforehand or let us just eat inside during a cold and rainy day. We are also the only customers coming in during that time so other than making our lives difficult, I don’t see any reason why the staff member is extremely hostile, impatient and rude. “This is just our policy.” Well well, this is just our review and we will NEVER come back.Btw, the drinks we ordered are bad too. Too flavorless and the fruits are not fresh. Bad service, and bad drinks. Don’t come.
The best coffee!!! The most friendly people working there!!! Also if you like smoothies, they making it just delicious!!! I'm coming back soon!!!
11/16 @ 11:15am this establishment was not fully open and ready for business. I noticed the door was cracked open the light were still off, as well 0the TV menu were active. I noticed the employee still had her coat on and proceeded to take my order. I paid and noticed that I didn't see her wash her hands, as she proceeded to tell me she was wearing gloves.
HORRIBLE experience - this place smelled like mold and if you’re dairy-free, the only option they have is almond milk. I ordered the almond milk tea and it tasted like sugar mixed with water call with an aftertaste. It tasted disgusting. I highly I recommend going to another tea place if you feel like having Boba. There are four other Boba tea places on Newberry.
Cool menu, good boba. Nice staff.
Decent bubble tea, not everything I've dreamed of but it's good. The boba tends to form this huge blob on the bottom which I didn't like. Not only bubble tea there, so go explore! The place itself has an funky smell, but the service is good and there is space to sit down and indulge in your drink.
It's too sweet even I asked for a 25% sugar. The bobas are stiff and there's some weird texture to it. The milk tea somehow upsets my stomach . The price is expensive for a low quality boba.
