I stopped in Cafe Landwer a few weeks ago with a friend for tea and desserts. It was a Sunday afternoon but we were able to get a table right away. I really liked this place in past visits because they have plenty of vegan and plant based options. This time I got the lotus cookie butter Rozalach and they did not disappoint! The staff was nice and the prices were good especially for the area. I do recommend reserving a table though, especially if you want to go during peak times. The restaurant is also very open so it can be loud.
Excellent service and amazing portions at very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is chill. The place was spic&span clean. Oh, yes....the food was delicious ?
Don’t come to this location during prime time brunch hours. Super under-staffed, wait forever or order through the app on the table. Did that, food obviously sat out and got cold and wasn’t assigned to any one waiter. Older couple next to me weren’t tech savvy enough to order through the app, their meal took YEARS and had to flag down waitress. Restaurant needs to hire more people, food is usually great.
Delicious decadent pancakes. Enough for two...or one if you're very pregnant?Pic doesn't do them justice, big and thick but not dense. It comes with a bowl of whipped cream, syrup and nutella. Side of fruit. Highly recommend this delicious breakfast!
I am quite impressed with Cafe Landwer! It’s definitely pricey, but the amount of flavorful food you get makes the price seem like a good value. I LOVED the side of greens—it was exactly like I wanted: well seasoned, garlicky (but not overpowering), and tender-crisp. They were clearly sautéed to order from fresh vegetables. SO DELICIOUS! The halloumi Shakshuka was also very hearty and satisfying. The amount of halloumi was a bit skimpy (just 5 tiny cubes, really?!?) but the sauce was complex and tasty. It could have been spicier for me, but they brought me some delicious hot sauce when I asked and the problem was solved :)As a solo diner on a chill Tuesday afternoon, service was friendly and quick but also left me alone to read my book. I appreciated that. The atmosphere is something akin to a French cafe/bistro.I also really love that they have many vegan options that do not feel like second thoughts! Can’t wait to try them, too!
One of my absolute favorite brunch places! The vegan focaccia shawarma is to die for. Try their Turkish coffee as well for sure. Hubby liked their shakshuka as well. We also ordered vegan French stir fry which we didnt like much. On the healthier side, their acai bowls and fresh fruit shakes are really good. If you like mocha, try their iced/hot mocha. They are generous with the chocolate syrup ok the brim.On another visit, we tried the pancakes which were amazing. A little crispy top with extremely fluffy inside. And great presentation.
Great ambience and excellent food with so many options and generous quantity. We tried Mediterranean shakshuka and vegan breakfast. Nutella latte was delicious as well.
The inside of the restaurant was beautiful, and it looked very clean too. The waiters were nice and fast and helped me and my friend to decide on food and drinks. The restaurant wasn't very busy at first but at some point had many people dinning in. The prices were decent and I do recommend this place to people who like Israeli food.*there was parking on the street with meters.
I love the ambiance ? we ordered the Mediterranean shakshuka and it was delicious. Also, we ordered Nutella and louts rolls ? we love it. The staff were kind ?
We came here from California looking for a good eating place and we were not disappointed. Great place, great food. Healthy choices. You have to stop by you won't regret it.
