My sister and I went early on a Sunday morning . It was quiet and the people were so kind . Breakfast was amazing and the coffee was great . Prices are reasonable. I was hoping that we would find a nice little cafe while here in the city and I would definitely recommend this as part of your city experience.
The shakshouka was very underwhelming. I expected the eggs to be placed on top of the dish and finished off there but they were cooked separately and then placed on top. Small portion considering it’s one of their pricier brunch items. Otherwise they got us in quick (about 5 minutes) for a table of 3 since Cafe Bonjour had an hour wait. My friends liked their dish (breakfast sandwich and breakfast platter). The other dishes that folks got around us looked good (like the crepes) but I just don’t recommend the shakshouka at all.
Very good food and nice waitstaff who was extremely helpful and friendly. My crepe was delicious and the orange juice was very well made. They ran out of Diet Coke and went next door so that we could have some. Not that much seating but they make it work.
The best cafe in Boston. Great vibe, great coffee and amazing food. Ordered the Green Supreme sandwich. Tasted amazing, and the home fries were phenomenal. Servers were very polite. If you're in Boston, this place is a must try for a great breakfast!
Fresh squeezed orange juice! Not fancy at all. Reminds me of those little Greek coffee shops on NYC in the 80s. So nice not to be in a slick or branded place, but seriously good food. Everything we ate was solidly tasty and fresh. We only had a short wait. We ate here twice on our visit to Boston. Middle eastern shakshuka eggs and crepes reminds me of the Algerian places in Paris.
We went there for breakfast. We had the breakfast burger. It was really good. Service was a little slow but they were busy. Everyone was super nice. Definitely wouldn't mind visiting you again. Hope you're ever in the downtown Boston area and looking for a quick bite. They serve breakfast all day long.
Great food, great service. highly recommend for breakfast
A great location near Downtown Crossing for breakfast! Had been directed to another restaurant on the same street, but because the line was way too long, we popped in this little breakfast spot. A happy decision! Great food, nice staff, this was a perfect spot to have a quick breakfast before a day on the town.
Service and food were great.
The chai latte was smooth but not too sweet, with a nice foam on top. The avocado toast with the added lox was hearty and well flavorful, it came with a side of home fries and salad. The sourdough bread that they used was fresh and fluffy with a nice crispy crust, while the avocado was fresh and creamy, with the sandwich itself being extremely filling. The breakfast sandwich was hot and with a good portion of meat on it. That also came with a side of home fries. The portions were well doled out and would definitely go back there for breakfast again.
