We found this place on Google. Chose it due to close location to USS Constitution. What a wonderful surprise. Neighborhood bar and grille with very elevated eats. Highly recommend!
A lot of people toss around the word "awesome experience" when it comes to restaurants, as I plan to do now. It truly was awesome! It was very well staffed after a major parade in the area. Served quickly and efficiently from everyone. Then there is the food. It was phenomenal! We had the cheese board and a pizza! I cannot put into words how delicious it all was. Thank you to everyone!
Really 3.5 stars. Great outdoor seating area with heaters and umbrellas. Unisex restrooms. The soda is by the can, which is kind of a bummer if you're addicted to diet coke like myself. I didn't sit indoors, but you have to walk through there to get to the back patio - it seemed to have a fun, lively, casual vibe.I ordered two items from the menu - one was great and one was not:The OG pizza was hot and delicious! It had a *lot* of sliced garlic. The pecorino tasted great with it. The pizza had a hint of smokiness to it as well, which was great.I didn't really like the spicy cauliflower. The peanut flavor didn't work for me - it felt out of place and didn't add anything. The avocado is smooth and sauce-like, similar to baby food. I didn't like that texture in combination with the cauliflower - but I'm particular about textures so it might work for most people. Finally, it was barely spicy. I'm not into super spicy stuff, but I do like a bit of spice. This spice level was pretty low for something advertised as spicy.Overall a good experience with friendly, fast service. I'd go again.
Fantastic range of beers and ciders on tap. The snacks we had with the drinks were really good and the staff friendly and helpful. I want to go back and try their full menu, but not sure we are going to have time… One suggestion - an “on tap” taster menu would be fantastic!
Don’t get the Hawaiian pizza.
Our group of 6 tried several different pizzas, all came with a perfectly crisp, thin pizza dough and lots of high quality toppings. I also had a ceviche appetizer which was garlicky and tasty. It's a nice little ambience as well - feels modern but cozy and casual and quite spacious inside. I would absolutely go back when nearby. We found easy street parking for Monday lunch (also, worth noting that this place is open on Mondays at lunch, which is not the case for a lot of places in Boston.)
Undercooked and over-dressed Holiday Ham pizza. Not recommended.
More restaurant than bar like, which was a nice change for this trip. Marge and Killa B were really good pizzas. The OG was a bit too salty for me. The meatballs have mushrooms, come in 3, and were good. Great red sauce. The service was really good. Enjoyable atmosphere with lots of families. Popular with locals it seemed.
Excellent food and great drinks!! The crab dip and sandwiches were amazing, highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a bite.
So, I expected the beer to be good —and it was indeed top notch—but really impressed by the oysters & pizza!
