Delicious! So many fun flavors to try & they are all fresh and fun! They stay fresh on the counter for a few days too normally!
Tried some of their new summer flavors! Server was friendly and helpful! PEACH JAM BISMARCK (V) | filled brioche, peachjam, vanilla sugar, it was delicious donut itself was not heavy it was light plenty of filling. ROOT BEER FLOAT | brioche, vanilla-root beer glaze, vanilla whip topping, chocolate straw! Very fancy but a great combo of flavors in a donut wow! BUTTERFLY PEA LEMONADE brioche, butterfly pea lemonade glaze this was my favorite omg! It’s tangy and sweet! TROPICAL GLAZED vanilla cake, mango + banana glaze, coconut, palm tree decoration! It looks pleasing to the eye but this is so tropical it’s refreshing and different but delicious!
This is matcha strawberry crunch, it doesn’t taste like matcha, I think the strawberry flavor is too strong and cover the matcha taste, but I still like it a lot.
Yummy sandwiches and the eggplant bowl was completely crave-worthy as part of the Sally’s sandwich shop side. The Boston Cream doughnuts for desert were just amazing!
Blackbird Doughnuts in the South End has excellent food and service. I've been buying doughnuts there for several years now. I took a hiatus because it's not nearby to my home, but I recently won a gift card in a raffle and got a sandwich along with a few doughnuts. The employee there was helpful witth suggestions. My favorite doughnut is the savory one that tastes like a bagel. If you get at least 6 doughnuts, there are no sales taxes.
Their donuts are unique and amazing. The service is also really good and fast. They are a must go every time we’re in Boston.

always a delight to come to this location. they are open until evening and usually always have donuts available until near closing time. staff is always friendly and patient. would recommend this place and location to anyone. they also offer catering!
Really good donut shop with great service. Note that they run out of some stuff by closing time so get there early. I got the everything bagel donut, the Boston cream, the blackbird, the cookie dough Bismarck, the vanilla glazed, and the cookie donut and they were all good. The everything bagel donut pretty much tasted like an everything bagel with cream cheese but instead of a bagel bread it’s donut bread. The Boston cream was my least favorite since the cream wasn’t really sweet but I thought it was better than the same from union square donuts. The others were really good with the cookie dough Bismarck being my favorite. I also got the vanilla minis which were pretty good and good if you’re on the go. Really good spot worth checking out for sure
