Good food and fast and great service

Pizza and calamari

Recommended by a local. We were seated after 10 minutes outside. Ordered our wine and entrees at the same time. The wine was good but took 20 minutes to arrive. Everyone around us was being served their food and ours arrived 45 minutes after we ordered. Linguine/clams and Frutti de Mare. Entrees were cold, seafood was over cooked and the pasta lacked any flavor at all. We didn’t even detect any garlic. We took a few bites, asked for our $90 bill, paid it and left. Server was nice. We will not return.

Brushetta, spinach ravioli and pizza - all very good! Small place but comfortable and welcoming. Get off the beaten path and enjoy this place.

We chose this restaurant based on the great reviews and honestly we were a little surprised it is ranked so highly. The food was fine but nothing particularly special. We were seated in the basement which clearly has only been opened as an overspill area - you could smell the washing up and we were constantly disturbed by the dishes being carried past us and up the stairs. Given the prevalence of Italian restaurants in the area I’d try somewhere else first.

We visited about 10 different Italian restaurants in the Northend on either Salem or Hanover street. Our favorite is Benevito’s. Food quality for flavor, portions size and variety are excellent. I dare you to compare.

The Italian food at this restaurant is fantastic! It is so fresh and flavourful. They have a really good selection of gluten free options too, which my family members loved (they are allergic to gluten). Portion sizes are good too. The restaurant is a little small and cozy inside, but the food is worth it.

It was so good!! I was happy they had a kids meal. My kids devoured their food!

Just happened to wander in here, and it was love at first bite! The Spukonie pizza had excellent ricotta and fresh basil! And of course, my main metric for judging pizza places: THE CRUST!! The crust is amazing! Ten tenths. Next Insect Safari in Boston is gonna have a staff lunch here!-Professor Bugman STEM Adventures

Very small dining area upstairs. We were seated in the basement. I felt like the area is an afterthought. Not a good space to sell your brand. Service was good. Veal parm was average at best. Gluten free pasta was good. I would seek out other options before first.
