Fun pub atmosphere right on the Freedom Trail. Good service. Enjoyed the fried calamari and the special Freedom Trail Samuel Adams Red Brick ale. Worth a stop.

Nice pub, with a lovely vibe. Great location to drink a cold Sam Adams near his last resting place! Very friendly staff and a good selection.

Just a great old time Boston pub. You feel like you’re back in time when you enter the place. Great Boston sports memorabilia all over the walls. It’s right across the street from grave site of Sam Adams. It’s the only place in the world where you can have a cold Sam Adams while looking at a cold Sam Adams!

My first time here just for after dinner beverages. Apple cider mimosa and espresso martini. Both tasted amazing. Regret not getting the Boston cream pie. Next time.

Went here for the baked beans. I read somewhere that they were the best here. That is false, beans lacked flavor, I don’t think any spice was used. They put molasses and beans together and called it a day. 2/10 would not bean again. They bread that was served with the beans however was pretty good 8/10 would eat again. The pub itself was nice, had a great atmosphere. Also ordered the Beantown Ale which was refreshing. 6.5/10 would drink again.

Shared the bean town burger and chowder, was very good especially paired with a Sam Adams. Great place to pop in by the park.

Great service and friendly bartenders.

Awesome bar. play less rap

Good food nice bar atmosphere. Food was good had the lobster roll and the Paul Revere sandwich which was very good. Boston cream pie was good.

An unassuming surprising lunch stop. All our table got sandwiches and they were all hearty and filling. Quiet enough on a Tuesday so it was comfortable. Server was super pleasant. Fine beer selection.
