A wonderful surprise discovered on our stroll through Beacon Hill! They have an extensive selection of beautiful chocolates in interesting and delicious flavor combinations. It's a perfect afternoon pick-me-up!

I was at this shop twice. Once before holidays 2020, when it was quite busy and I put their brusque approach to customer service down to being super busy. But I visited again with my family yesterday. The shop was empty at around 12pm on a Thursday. So I thought with an empty shop and three staff members serving I would get better service this time. Big mistake! We had a look around, and decided that we order hot chocolate for the kids while we choose some of their super expensive stuff to order. I was told abruptly that “our card machines are not working”. I said it’s ok we have cash, to which I got no response. Then I asked for 2 hot chocolates and was told “oh we are not doing them yet, not ready”. Hmmm. How about a espresso? “No, not doing coffee right now either” - all of these were said with a real tone of disdain and contempt for the customer. The word “sorry” never crossed their lips once! So we got the message that they really didn’t want to serve us and left promptly and went somewhere were our custom was a lot more appreciated and didn’t have obnoxiously rude owner/staff!

Okay, I know good chocolate and a great atmosphere and this place has both. Always a joy to visit and they tolerate my wit with a smile and a quick reply.

Pretty steeply priced chocolates, but there are a lot of them! I wish the prices for all of the store items were more visible. Same for the truffles, it would have been helpful to know which ones are cheaper and which ones are more expensive. I got a hot chocolate and was pretty hesitant when I saw that they use powdered hot chocolate, but was actually very impressed! It was strong but not overpowering and served at the perfect temperature. Very cute store to go in around fall-winter time.

Tourist trap - better off drinking puddle water than whatever they're trying to pass off as hot chocolate. Swiss Miss is a gourmet option compared to what they're serving. The chocolates are hit and miss ... well mostly miss. It was $40 worth of disappointment. Do yourself a favor and just go to Burdick's.

Great customer service and fun selection of chocolate. We're going to make this a must stop shop next time we come to Boston.

One of the ladies at the store was rude. I didn’t stay any longer. I saw other reviews complaining about the employees. Still the same attitude.November 5th, at 2pm.

My mom just bought these little wedding themed boxes for my brothers wedding here. Each chocolate was an absolute DREAM. I just finished the boxes I got my hands on and now I'm planning a trip tomorrow! I can't live without now!

Wonderful little shop. Lots of great options, I highly recommend the stuffed fig.

Beautiful candies, chocolates & gelato. Great gifts for someone special, friendly staff. Always busy!
