Delicious brunch! Not crazy expensive for Boston. The line can take a little while, but it moved a lot faster than we were expecting. Highly recommend - especially when they have the outdoor seating available.
A hidden gem! Aquitaine was recommended by a long time Bostonian, and it didn't disappoint! My husband and I were in Paris this time last year. Thus for the business trip to Boston this year, we were excited to try some good French restaurants. Their duck (both the duck breast dinner plate & the lunch breast sandwich) was superb! Sauteed mushrooms were amazingly flavorful. The truffle burger was excellent as well. Great wine selection too. The dishes were way better than the fancy French restaurants by Newbury street, which we tried earlier. The price is very reasonable for downtown. The walk from the convention center to the restaurant took us through quaint cobblestone streets. The ambiance was fantastic. Great service - Paola was energetic, Martin is classy and professional, the maître-D remembered us from two nights ago, and welcomed us warmly. Compared to all the overcrowded, overpriced downtown restaurants, head to Aquitaine!
Food here was good and decor is really nice. Really enjoyed the mussels and the escargot in particular.We had an issue with some of our food but the staff rectified it very well. The manager and staff were super apologetic and even gave us free desserts.Would recommend.
Salmon, Gin and Rosemary, and Creme Brulee. One of the best dinners! Nice atmosphere, knowledgeable and friendly staff. We will definitely return.
This is a classic French bistro with great ambiance and excellent food. The escargot were amazing as was the sole meuniere. The service also was first rate and friendly. Also, the prices were very reasonable. This is a must!
Went here for brunch and got the Truffle Omelet. The Croque Madame here is also a good option. Everything we ordered for brunch tasted perfect. The food quality was excellent!
Fabulous dover sole, haricot verts, and creme brulee! My sons also thoroughly enjoyed their steaks. Overall, it was a great Mothers Day experience! We will definitely return to Aquitaine! Highly recommend.
