Good spot. A staple in our community. Just make sure they put the pumpkin when asked. Roti comes with 3 sides. I asked to add pumpkin for extra. They agreed. Only to leave and find out it wasn’t put on there.

Went there at the end of the day - items that I wanted to try were not available. Roti made fresh. They stated meats served are halal, can't verify though.
Food was alright but the other reviews weren’t lying. The customer service was trash. I never understood the concept of being rude to people who are paying YOU for service. It’s counterproductive. There are other roti shops in the city. I won’t be back.
Ali’s Roti is my favorite place to eat in Mattapan! Every time I’m in that part of the city, it’s a must stop destination for me! My friend told me about this place and I’ve been obsessed ever since. So delicious! I always order the vegetarian roti, but there are many meat options available too.
We waited so long that people literally clapped when they were told the potatoes we're ready. The mood instantly improved in the place. Speed it up a little bit guys, but don't make it fast food.
