The food was excellent, the wait staff terrific.

Fastest service I’ve ever experienced — apps were out in 2 minutes and entrees in about 5-8 and everything was hot! Great music and environment that we still ended up staying 2 hours just enjoying our meal

accommodating for a gluten-free diet and really sweet about swapping out drinks that I did not like

Our server, Corinne, was fantastic. She was friendly and personable but more importantly, knowledgeable about the menu and the wines. She was observant to our needs (speaker was loud-she noticed before we did.). The food was well prepared and good variety-I had avoided the restaurant previously because the menu was so complicated, it would not always appeal to broad range of tastes. Glad to hear that changes have been made. It's a great spot and I'm sure we'll be back.

Not a lot of vegetarian options. Don't get the cheese plate, not worth it.

Nice place to have lunch. It's close to North Station, serves decent food, has a good list of drinks, and has friendly staff.

Acknowledging we were 15-20 minutes late for our reservation but I called and they said it was fine and when I arrived, they said it was fine but we just need your table by x time. I said of course, no problem! No one greeted us for 20 minutes. We asked after 10 minutes and then waited another 10. Server was very busy, had too many tables, and seemed frustrated when she came over - she did apologize after the fact. Not totally her fault but it did seem like the bussers could have helped with some of the stuff she was doing. And I totally understand places are short staffed and you have to be patient these days, but this experience was a bit much. You also have to understand that people make plans, are trying to celebrate, and spend money - so you really should not seat people if you can't actually accommodate them and/or be completely upfront to say - look, we're only accepting reservations and our kitchen and bar is backed up by x amount of time so people could plan accordingly. Because if you're able to have more people seated, but the experience is mediocre, and your guests and staff are bummed, then what is the point? I also ordered way less than I would've normally so I'm not really sure it's financially beneficial for them either. We clearly weren't the only others with this experience. Especially for a location that is adjacent to multiple event venues. When we did order, I asked for items with shorter bill times so we could get to where we needed to be. She said the fish tacos are a short bill time, but this other table ordered them 45 minutes ago and still hasn't gotten them. The other item I asked about was out. She recommended a few other things - ordered them. They were fine. Drinks came 10-15 minutes later - she comped them. I've been to Alcove many times before, and had much better experiences. Outside deck was nice though.

Great food - great atmosphere - lots of Gluten Free options and staff was helpful with those choices.

Had 3 different servers. Servers didn’t know menu and had to keep asking chef about ingredients. Got a $42 lobster Roll and the bread was completely stale. Was not happy at all

Great spot for a lunch meeting. Music too loud.
