We just had an amazing experience at the 110 Grill- South Bay. My future brother-in-law proposed to my sister at night and he wanted to do it at a place where their 3 children could be present and enjoy great food and a family atmosphere. That’s where the 110 Grill came in. His plan was to disguise the proposal as a birthday celebration. The restaurant staff were MORE than accommodating. Here are the myriad of allergies that we needed the restaurant to accommodate: peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, beef, seafood/shellfish and sesame. They were able to accommodate ALL of these requests without complaint.I want to thank the managers, Peggy and Mike for making 110% sure that there would be no issues. I called two weeks in advance to inquire about the allergies and there was no issue. They even CHANGED THE OIL the night before, cleaned the area, and watched the specific fryer all day to ensure that there would be no cross-contamination.That night, we had the BEST waitress, Lauren Rose. She was FANTASTIC. She coordinated with my brother-in-law to place the ring in the proposal cake, constantly communicated all night about what we needed and when to bring it out. She even ensured, along with the hostess, that no one else was seated in our area (which I didn’t even realized until we had left). My niece even scraped her hand and needed a band-aid and Lauren went to the back and got us a few. My niece was very thankful and used the extras to play doctor. This was such an amazing experience. It was great to be able to watch my sister get engaged and have all of her closest family, especially her 3 children, with her. It is nearly impossible to take them out to dinner because so many places just turn us away when we mention all of the allergies. The 110 Grill in South Bay went ABOVE AND BEYOND, truly. Thank you all so much. Thank you to the staff and head chef who came out to celebrate during the actual proposal as well. What a magical night. I never knew a restaurant that had such amazing, caring, and accommodating staff as this place.Thank you all so much!!
This dining experience was a hidden gem found on a Saturday evening by me and a friend of mine.Looking to just enjoy a meal to cap a busy weekend we ended up In this modern bar n grill with a spacious dining area and open kitchen area. With everyone’s eyes on the chef cooking, I appreciate the attention to detail given to the orders. The server was a nice young lady and the food didn’t take long to come out which shocked me because they were busy.I’m not only recommending the 110 but I’ll be back to the 110 grill for food very soon.
We highly recommend Yoruel!! Us Maine’rs loved him! He was super awesome!
My girlfriend brought me to the 110 Grill in Chelmsford to celebrate my birthday. I chose this place because I have always enjoyed their food and service when I go with my Dad. However, that was not the case tonight. The night started off with us spotting the dirty table setting and asking for a new one. Then we ordered some coffee that tasted like it’s been on the burner for a couple of hours. The appetizer was very good (spinach dip in a bread bowl). Therefore, I had high hopes that our main course would be just as good. This also was not the case. The waitress delivered our chicken piccata dishes..and almost immediately after she left I could smell the chicken had been in the fryer too long. After sampling the dish, we decided to send it back and have it remade. It was most definitely burnt. It took a good 5-10 minutes to get someone to find our waitress, so that we could ask to have our dishes remade. After another 15 minutes or so, the waitress returned to the table with the new dishes. She requested right then and there that we sample our dishes to verify that they were to our liking..and she stood there waiting until we did. She returned to the table about 15-20 minutes later to check on us and we asked for our left overs to be packed up..which she graciously obliged. When she returned she had the check in her hand with our packed food without first asking if we would like dessert. We wound up asking for the dessert menu and ordering the chocolate cake to go. Upon receiving the $9 dessert, (which was the size of a small muffin tin) we then found ourselves again waiting for the waitress to return so we could pay for our meal and put this experience behind us and see our movie. Not to be offered an apology or compensation by the manager struck us as unprofessional and somewhat rude. The reason I titled this review “No excuse” is because the waitress could have avoided this entire experience had she just looked at the dishes before leaving the kitchen and the manager could have easily fixed the situation had they made any effort at all.
excellent food and drinks and atmosphere!
What a bad experience. Food was cold! The quality was even worst… they offered a creamy risotto and I got rice with milk… nothing creamy… please don’t waste your money and time there
My husband and I ended up wandering in here in our search for dinner before the Van Gogh event at the Strand Theatre. We're so glad we did! The staff was amazing and our food was sublime. We'll be back the next time we're in the area!
Zenaida has been our server 2 times. she is always friendly and professional. making sure we have everything we need and are happy.
I ordered gluten free calamari and clam chowder, which is hard to find gluten free. The calamari was cooked perfectly! My friend ordered the tomato bisque which was supposed to be smooth but actually had chunks of tomato in it so she sent it back.
By far some of the WORST service I’ve had in a while. Considering it’s the pandemic, I always am sure to be patient because we have to be THANKFUL half these people showed up, yk? But this? Was just flat out lack of being attentive for the tables in your section. We sat at our table for 15 minutes, nobody even acknowledged us, got us a fork, knife, water, ANYTHING. A table came right after us? Got everything they needed in seconds. We had to get up and go ASK for a waitress.we finally get one, she does one table touch and leaves for another 20 minutes before taking our order; we wait an hour for the food to get to our table, and somehow everything is cold… like all the food is cold and the drinks are gross. And then she took another 25 minutes to come back with our check and our table could literally see she was giggling and haha and with the kitchen staff. We had to GET UP and get our OWN check. We were seated at 7:20… we didn’t leave till 9:15… nearly TWO HOURS and the food itself took an hour. Absolutely insane, and the food was a complete joke. Would give them -50/5 stars if I could
