Wow, what a fantastic fine dining experience for sushi! The atmosphere is beautiful and so clean, every dish was presented so beautifully and artfully and was so delicious. Their vegetarian truffle maki is vegan and it was amazing I am so glad to be able to have such delicious vegan sushi in the area! The head chef Jerry is so friendly, kind, and knowledgeable and really positively contributes to the experience. I will definitely be back!
We had a great time here. It is a higher-end sushi bar. The chef is a pro---he has created some wonderful flavor and texture combinations. Everything we tried was expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and truly delicious. We've been eating sushi our whole adult lives, but the chef really surprised and impressed us. The ingredients are super fresh, too. They offer green tea on the house: It is seriously the best green tea I've ever had. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. It was very cozy. We will definitely be back. They are new and trying to get business going: I encourage you to give them a try, because this is the type of restaurant you want in your neighborhood.
Best sushi I’ve ever had, better than places I’ve been that cost two or three times as much. This is a really special place. The service was awesome. Everyone was so friendly. I’m so excited to have such an incredible sushi place nearby!
Delicious! Great service too. Really good chu toro tonight. Can't wait till they get their liquor license so we can have a sake with it.
We enjoyed our experience in this new place! The fish was fresh, beautifully presented and tasted great. There were many unique specialties to choose from. The omakase sushi and sashimi was our favorite along with everything else that we ate! ? Certainly worth a return visit!
My fiancé and I decided to do a last minute Valentine’s Day take out order for dinner from this restaurant tonight. When I initially read that the chef worked at Oishi previously, I knew I had to try this place out. Let me just preface that we’re big time foodies and we hate spending money on bad food. This place was AMAZING!! Just the right amount of rice to fish ratio, and the fish is super fresh and tender. All of the rolls we ordered tasted so refreshing and flavorful! The rolls were all pretty reasonably priced. We’re definitely coming back!!P.S. We moved to the area recently and we were kind of bummed that there’s no sushi restaurants around here comparable to the quality we’d get in Boston. But you’ve changed our minds, thank you so much!! Keep it up!
I heard of Taku through one of the local social media sites and had to try it. I ordered takeout, the maki special with brown rice. The portion was generous, beautifully presented and a great price! The fish was super fresh and the rice perfectly cooked. The Wasabi was freshly prepared too. Typically, when I order brown rice rolls, they fall apart after dipping them into soy sauce. Not these ones! The chefs know that they are doing! Well done!
Cute new lil sushi spot with a nice staff and selection. They were out of toro but was glad to see that they carry it when available. Will definitely be back soon!
Absolutely amazing sushi. Worth ever penny. The freshness is beyond any other place I've been in Beverly area. I’ve tried them all (or as many as I can) and this is hands down the best quality food and experience.Looking forward to coming back here again for another wonderful experience.
The service and food are exceptional! Ordered fresh salmon sashimi, some sushi, two different salads with house made ginger dressing, and miso soup, simply delicious, every bite! So glad we glad we gave this place a try and will definitely be back soon!
