I love this place! They have fantastic Avocado Toast and great drinks!
Took 10 minutes to get a shot of espresso, but I didn’t care. The employees were jamming out and having a good time - they seemed to be happy. Having a vibe like this is really hard to cultivate, almost always happens organically, and when you have it it’s lightning in a bottle.
Ahh Atomic... You used to be a cozy little coffee shop with a sunken sofa and dim lighting, a real spot to hang out and chat with friends over a superb coffee. It's been some years since visiting the area and so perhaps this review isn't entirely fair, but I am sad to see that the space and image has been reworked into a cheap looking industrial-chic Homegoods theme. It no longer has a 'local' coffee shop feeling to it and more of a small chain. Coffee is still good to be sure, but not great compared to other local shops, and the vibe is more along the lines of a starbucks nowadays, unfortunately.
I admit I was a bit irritated by my wait for a breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg, cheese on ciabatta bread) this morning. Especially when people who ordered food after me got their food first.I have to say. Worth every second of the wait. Super yum ? Would 100% wait again. Thank you!
The coffee is fine but it’s ALWAYS so slow. I really wish they’d take down the “friendliest place in town” sign. I’ve been here a dozen times, and I think I’ve maybe seen one person smile. These are some grumpy baristas.
My favorite place for coffee! The drinks are always incredible, as well as the service. They really can keep a line moving in there! The Grilled Cheese Deluxe and Breakfast sandwich are my favorites for food.
One of my favorite stops in Beverly! Pretty consistent. Dedicated staff, they really keep the lines moving. I tend to favor the sandwiches.
The coffee is really good, and that alone deserves three stars. The service gets another star, but the minus comes with the food and pastries they have. Here is all about the coffee.
