Very unprofessional staff! Called to complain about the drive thru worker, and they hung up on me and wouldn’t answer the phone again.
I went to this Popeyes today and was looking forward to the $5 shrimp box that I had on my app. The whole time I was driving there I kept trying to pay but the app wouldn't let me pay. I entered the restaurant and attempted to have them place the order for me but they said it was only an app offer and I showed him where I was trying to pay on my app but it wouldn't let me. The girls behind the counter had no idea how to enter the order so I said don't you have an override you can do and just do $5 for the Shrimp Box? Their answer was I don't know how. So I asked for the manager and the manager came to me and I showed him the same thing. He said he couldn't help me he couldn't do an override I asked for his boss's number or the corporate number and he said I don't know it. I said are you sure you want to do this and he said I can't do anything. The unfortunate part was everybody there was Hispanic and none of them had a command of the English language. I may never go there again.UPDATE: The shrimp, I paid full price for, were cold.
I went here a few weeks ago with my mom for lunch, I got there and service was extremely slow— There was only 2 cars in the drive thru! We got fries and chicken, and the fries I got tasted like they were just whipped out of the fridge, extremely cold. Another time we went, I wanted shrimp and the lady in the drive thru said there was none. (Spoiler alert, I got shrimp.)
the food is so good! I recommend mild if you don't like spicy but it's not seasoned much so get sauce, I recommend spicy though if you like seasoned stuff
First time yesterday late night. Food SUCKED. The fried chicken was rubbery and tasted not at all like years ago. Apparently they’ve changed the recipes as the dirty rice was not at all like I remember. Totally disappointed and will not return.
I went through the drive through. I ordered 2 of their 3 piece dinners. I asked for 2 Cole slaws and 2 French fries. I paid $22.00. I got home and had 2 2piece meals 1 for and 1 slaw. This was the second time I have been given the wrong meal. The Popeye restaurant is in Westminster MD. I won't return to them again.
Loved the spicy chicken bites the cinnamon apple pie. BUT was very disappointed when I requested large UN sweet tea. And on the way home got a mouth full of soda. Wasn't turning around wasn't happy
This is probably not a popular opinion but Popeyes has one of the best chicken around. This location is clean and service is great, I haven’t had a bad experience yet.
It was a rip off. I order a original chicken sandwich and a side of Mac and cheese. Got charged 6.49 for my sandwich and extra .90 for my Mac and cheese. I asked why not just give me the meal for 7.59 if my sandwich is going from 3.99 to 6.49 because I was told Mac and Cheese I couldn't get as a side with the meal. Than as I am leaving the store. A man comes in and orders and original Chicken sandwich meal with his side as Mac and Cheese. He was able to get it for 7.49 and that included a soda. So I paid 7.39 plus taxes and never got a drink. What is wrong with this picture. I never go back again.
Place was clean. Service was timely. Workers showed good manners.
