Service was the immediate value to usâ¦one of our party has a severe dairy allergy and both Ken (owner) and our waiter were extremely diligent in dealing with that problemâ¦. The food was excellentâ¦â¦and our waiter was most attentive to our every need. The restaurant interior was just beautifulâ¦..all combined our experience was over the top⦠My advice is next time you head out to dinnerâ¦head to Budâs you will be rewarded for that decision Paul Wroten
Four of us went to celebrate my birthday, and we were all very pleased. Our waitress, Billie, made several suggestions, and they were much appreciated. Particularly notable were the cream of crab soup, the special salad with sprouts, strawberries and lime vinaigrette, and the cranberry raspberry bread pudding, but it was all good.
This is a hidden gem! We passed by on a little road trip and didnât stop right way but then when looking on Open Table saw such great reviews, so stopped on the way back home. Excellent food and service! Very nice ambiance in the dining room. We look forward to returning again next time weâre up near Gettysburg. Thereâs a nice little outdoor area, too.
We had a great dinner with really nice service on a Saturday night. The Duck Confit was the best thing we had, its excellent. The Elk Chop was delicious & the Catfish special was ok...it wasn't bad at all, but bland by comparison, it's accompanying Spinach Risotto was very good though. The Bread Pudding is delicious, very light with a little crisp to it, I'd prefer it w/o the chocolate though.
Absolutely phenomenal dining experience. The food is to die for--especially the crab cakes! The staff is very polite and knowledgeable. Whether you're looking for a bar experience, or an evening of fine dining, you can find it here at Bud's! Not to mention the desserts, which are simply delicious!
What a pleasant surprise! Leaving Gettysburg, we were looking for a place to eat dinner. Luckily, we saw a billboard advertising Bud's, so we were looking for it. Otherwise, we might have missed it. The service was friendly and professional. The meal was outstanding. We had the porterhouse steak for two. Three of us ate it and we actually brought a small piece home! Will definitely stop again if in the area (would even make a small detour, if necessary). Highly recommended!

Hidden gem! Food is always amazing and the staff is friendly! Highly recommend anyone to sit at the bar and have a cold drink n great food or make reservations for the formal restaurant!
