Excellent service, great food, and of course great coffee. AiC is a wonderful place to hang out on a Tuesday morning or Saturday evening.
Love the coffee, food, building, atmosphere and location. Went this morning (on a Friday) and it took over 30 minutes to get 3 breakfast sandwiches to go. They really need to have more than 2 people working in the mornings.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! so the coffe was mediocre but not hott enough. the food and service was very disappointing. We stated it was our first time and we were the only two inside ordering. We sat for 20 minutes as others came in, ordered and got their food. When we finally got our two breakfast sandwiches they were cold, not toasted and poorly made. Considering how expensive it cost we expected quality food and at least decent service. When i walked to the counter and told the two employees our sandwiches were cold and not toasted so ill take a box and go toast them at home myself, one of them simply said "oh, okay" no apologies for the wait or the food. Will never be back.
While the food is usually decent their service is extremely slow. It doesn't seem to be a staffing issue but more of a lack of any type urgency/training issue. Multiple people standing around twiddling their thumbs. Sadly we will probably not return.
I really want to like this place but I just can't. I went and stood for 20 minutes and was never acknowledged or asked my order. They can't seem to handle the small orders they receive.
Perfectly made vanilla latte and at a reasonable price! Definitely will be back when I'm in the area.
Twice have ordered a smoked Gouda and apple grilled cheese, received something with cheddar, no apples, and an inch of what looks like ham. In a 3 day period. Tried to give second chance.. don’t recommend.
I love American Ice! I love all their menu options, however, due to a low number of staff working, the lines tend to be long as well as the wait. Still my favorite coffee shop in all of Westminster!
The place is super cute and nice to hangout with friends and drink some coffee to catch up! The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the sandwich I ordered (egg white sandwich) had no flavor or seasoning. They also had to “remake” it three times because I asked for no onions and they made it with onions the first time. No big deal. But the second time all they did was pluck off the onions and wait like 5 minutes to give it back to me. When I got it back the sandwich was cold and the girl still left a couple of pieces of onions on the sandwich. The third time she re made it but she rolled her eyes and was very aggressive when she gave me the sandwich. The girl taking orders was super friendly and helpful since it was our first time there. If I comeback it might be to chat with friends and have a drink, but the food is not impressive and honestly a little overpriced.
Very good coffee and iced teas! And their staff are very friendly and welcoming! A million times better than Starbucks!!!
