FRIDAYS IS HORRIBLE they expired my reward points without notification. are they aware there is A PANDEMIC. No I haven't felt safe going to a restaurant but when I finally venture out. MY EARNED POINTS ARE GONE.
The hostess today, Saturday 04/30/2022 around 3:45pm, (very short, blonde dyed hair with dark roots) was rude by not speaking when my family and I entered. When I mentioned that I made a reservation for a booth instead of a table she was taking us to, she rolled her eyes. The other host was a tall light skinned man and he was the opposite. He greeted us, accommodated my family, and was very polite. Our server, Myeisha, had stellar customer service which set the bar. If it were not for the last two interactions, we would have dined else where. The food was delicious too.
I am at TGIF in Waldorf now. I have a party of 7 and have waited for drinks and appetizers for over an hour. Food came out in several stages and had to ask for additional items that were ordered. I Will not be back. From the time tried to make reservations to the time we left, The customer service and the table service was absolutely horrible. I recommend spending your money and time elsewhere. 100%.
This ordered was delivered… I am disappointed and dissatisfied with the service and conduct that I received on March 27th. The manager at Waldorf store was very rude. His behavior was absurd! I have never ever known a manager to act this way. He wasn’t willing to listen, he was speaking to me in a demeaning manor, yelling and screaming at me during our entire telephone conversation. I purchased food and there was no glaze on the food I ordered. The Whiskey Glaze bundle I ordered, the glaze was the purpose of the order. We weren’t able to eat it. This is completely unacceptable and I don’t appreciate being treated this way. I hope this matter is handled appropriately and swiftly so that no one else has to endure the utterly distasteful disrespect that I had to endure.
Arrived at 8:03pm sat immediately, after about 15 minutes of not being greeted we were told he was making his way over to us. We waited an additional 15 minutes absolutely nobody. We were greeted by a new server and told the other one “just basically left” he shrugged his shoulders and told us he’d help us. For a brief moment we thought we’d finally be taken care of… wrong. Another 15 minutes later the drinks were brought out minus our drink from the bar. (We ordered soft drinks) Keep in mind we are literally standing in a empty restaurant. Our sever isn’t clearly busy helping other tables… nothing. We sat and waited another 30 minutes to even receive our appetizer until 8:50. After our long wait for our appetizer to arrive it came out, Lukewarm. Our food arrived at the table at 9:02pm and we noticed they were out of buns (pictured below) no apologies nor did anyone acknowledge they were even out. (No big deal but obviously acknowledge it) I ordered the Cajuns Pasta Absolutely zero flavor. At this point my entire table has gone without any drinks.Another table beside us is finally sat, we attempt to grab his attention considering we haven’t seen him & he didn’t drop the food off other servers did.We asked for sauces and nobody came with them. Finally our waiter returned to the table and looked at us and asked if we needed anything (clearly looking at a table that has zero drinks & hasn’t been prebussed). This entire time I haven’t seen a manager until now, she didn’t even bother to look at our table or even attempt to greet us and ask how our meal went. The only impressive thing about our stay was the fact he was able to remember our order (a skill I never mastered while serving)The server had a good attitude & was pleasant however didn’t have a single ounce of urgency whatsoever, great person however has no business being in customer service.Overall, this is a bad restaurant that’s been poorly managed for years, as someone whose been in the industry I’d consider myself as fair, but I’ve given this place so many chances and they fail every single time. How embarrassing. The last time I spoke to a manager he told me he was a temp manager and that this location was on a decline… & offered me a job… I RAN.Don’t come here, even the food isn’t good.
This place needs a complete makeover from the front of the door to the back door. Staff, management, general management and owners need to go to the drawing board and figure it out. Or the business will fail. It’s too many competitors with better service and food. It was not crowded last night sat at the bar, bartender was not nice she clearly doesn’t like her job and she let us all know in her service. Listening to the other bartender talk and complain to the manager about customers being indecisive was a cringing moment. Paying $22 for a bone crusher that spilled all over the bar because they dump a bottle in the glass and leave it there overfilled was laughable. Go back to the original recipe please, as much as I love LaMarca Prosecco the bone crusher shouldn’t taste like all Prosecco. Had to ask 3 times for honey mustard, 3 reminders insane. We don’t need bad service we deserve better.
Food was good and ready for carry out in a timely manner, the staff were helpful at pick up. The problem I had was that I ordered a dessert that had ice cream on it, one it was not packaged in an appropriate container and two item was placed underneath a lot of hot food items. Needless to say it was unbeatable. Better packaging or don’t give the option of take out for this sort of thing.
This TGi Friday is the most disorganized restaurant in Waldorf Area ( in regards of customer service). The service is Amazingly disturbing. Bartenders work one-on-one with customers and it is essential that they provide a welcoming environment. A bartenders job is to provide and share their knowledge and make every customer happy as much as possible .Yet , in this resturant - not only they ignore you , they don’t even know how to communicate with you. It is now —10 minutes since I got here yet no has approached me about my drinks and dinner. I will never come here !! ???and ever recommend to any one. Serous customer service training might be appropriate.
Came in around 7:45 with the family was seated fairly quickly then we waited for about 10 minutes or so for our waitress. 7 seated tables and no one at the bar...ordered drinks and our appetizer along with one dinner for our daughter. 30 minutes later we got the appetizer, all by itself then we waited another 15 or so for our order to be taken. And waited again. Got dinner just shy of 9pm. Chicken wing bones were snapping in half when you pulled the meat off and not in a good way....more like I got the wings that came from the forgotten bag in the freezer I ordered Frank's red hot Buffalo and got Nashville hot...no worries there since they weren't all that good to start with. Requested ranch and got it about halfway through the meal. Refills for the drinks didn't happen until late in the game. Waitress was a ghost. Except for when it was time to settle the bill then its was as super quick. Will definitely not return. Plenty of staff on hand, low amount of customers and horrible service topped off with a long wait and a bill equal to a nicer restraunt. Should have gone somewhere else. Won't make that mistake again.
The lady seating us didn’t say one word to us and no smile. Food was alright but kind of bland. Nothing impressive. Brought me “sweet tea” with absolutely no sugar in it. The server checked on us maybe twice and we were sitting around waiting forever trying to get boxes and the check. Once he did he set it down and picked it up..said nothing..Very very dissatisfied and we won’t be coming back.
