Placed an order at the drive thru. The manager brought the food to the window speaking very fast and proceeded to hand us our food without a bag. Therefore, we asked did the food come with a bag. In a nasty tone she stated you can have one if you like. Next she asked if we would like some sauce, and before we could respond she slammed the window closed and walked away. My first time going to this Sonic in 6 years and after today I will never go back…

I experienced the most alarming display of poor customer service experience by a young woman working at this location. As my friend and I pulled through the drive thru and no one acknowledged at the ordering screen after saying hello, we pulled up behind the vehicle in line ahead of us. While in line a young woman, who never gave her name but had the head set on/purple and neon yellow braids, was hollering “go back around.” We we’re trying to figure out who she was talking to initially. She said it louder and pointed to our vehicle and said, “You need to go back around to order. I saw y’all on camera and you only waited for like ten seconds.” We pulled up to the window where a young man named, Andre presumably as his name was on the ticket, opened the window to take our order. The same young woman jumped in his face, slammed the window, began to demean and berate this young man…all which we could hear. She told him not to take our order, that we acted as if we (the customers) were a priority. Mind you the only thing that was said to this young woman calmly, “ No one answered, we’re not driving back around and we would just like a slushy.” We did not cut in front of anyone…we were in line. She proceeded to tell the young man again not to take the order to which he stated…it’s just a slushy. He then stood to the side. She finally took the order…then begrudgingly said, “Please be patient with us.” She never apologized for HER behavior. And the treatment of that young man was 1000% unacceptable. I am only giving a two star rating because that young man is to be commended for showing restraint, poise and professionalism when that young woman clearly crossed the line. Which told us that behavior is the norm. Society always talks about how there is a double standard with respect to how men are expected to absorb disrespect from women. And that experience supports that and I hope that young man isn’t marred by the young woman’s poor treatment of him. That workplace environment is very dangerous with a young woman who outwardly displays such behavior towards customers and so comfortably towards staff. I have reported this to corporate as it was that concerning.

They made us go thru the main drive thru they said drive in was closed so we got our food an pulled into the drive in to eat it. Then we heard someone order after they told us it was closed. Then someone else pulled up they told them it was closed an come to main drive thru. So they pick an choose. They don't wanna come to your car every time. But food was hot an good.

Very disappointed! First I was almost given the wrong order. Secondly when I did get the order they said was right it was still wrong. I was missing the sauce as well as something I ordered. Lobby was closed so I couldn’t go inside to get the right items. The kiosk were closed and the drive they line was way to long to wait in again.. it’s 4 pm why is everything besides the drive thru closed!!

Nice staff ... but falls under pressure pressure I seen a staff member going ape s*** and please don't put your hands on someone's ice cream especially during a pandemic especially when not washing hands especially when touching surfaces especially when just touching the door to go outside geesh

After the one in La Plata shut down, I never cared to venture down to the end of Waldorf.But that was a huge mistake, the food is wayyyy better at Waldorf's branch. Got our food fast multiple times ??The only complaint is the drive thru speakers, it's hard to hear them since you're only 10 feet off the highway

Terrible customer service! We came here and ordered six drinks via the app. We got here and it took forever to receive the order, once we received our order we were missing two drinks. Therefore my husband went inside to advise them of the situation and the workers continuously walked by and didn't service us. Once she decided to come out she had the nastiest attitude ever! I wish people had better attitudes working with the public! After all you chose the job NOT US! Sonic please reevaluate the people you hire.

We had a very large order and everything was correct and in the bags. Food was hot and the wait was short. My cherry limeade was loaded with cherries which is a plus.

Have visited this location 2 times in the last month to purchase carry out the experience was we are currently not serving we don’t open until 8.00 am I walked in at 8.15 don’t understand. The second visit for lunch was told that I had to go through the drive through. My vehicle is a over size truck and won’t fit. I wanted to carry out and still couldn’t get service. Now I have 2 restaurants chains that I will not patronize Sonic & Taco Bell. Maybe this location will close like the one in laplata.

The route 44 sweat Tea I ordered had a ton of sugar at the bottom of the cup. Disgusting looking. The tea itself was not sweat. I told them the problem I had, and they corrected it immediately and quickly. The rest of the food was fresh and wonderful. We got shakes, drinks, and hot food. All great.
