Good first look! Brunch had a cold and hot bar, plus an omelet and waffle station. There were also, young gentlemen walking around with delicious cuts of meat and specialties like shrimp and grits! Only criticism would be the young lady making the omelets cooked them to a deep brown color. We didn't even taste them. They didn't look appetizing at all. They have chandeliers made with wine glasses! Cute!
The food was pretty good here. They have a hot bar, a salad bar and as well as the waiters who come around offering different cuts of meat. The meat was very good especially the picanha but the salmon needed seasoning. But overall the food was good. The staff was very nice. I would visit again
I so wanted to give a 5 star review, especially after supporting a minority business, but I have to be honest. Overall atmosphere is decent however, it was really warm in the establishment. I know that they are constantly cooking, but that's when you have to crank the air. The Rice and Brussel sprouts were quite undercooked, and the table was wobbly. The new owner seems very nice, and she did come over to our table to greet us. I know this is just minor bumps in the road, I do think it will improve in time.
This was our first time coming to Luciano's and it was very disappointing. We had 5pm reservations and the first thing noticed upon entry was the dirty floor. The hostess and waitress were both very pleasant. The waitress explained everything well . We headed to the salad bar which looked very good and fresh. However, nothing tasted very good. The steamed shrimp were very hard. The potato salad and coleslaw did not have a good taste. The deviled eggs and Cesar salad were both very tasty. The meats were over salted and not very good tasting. The sirloin steak was the best and had a good flavor. The pineapple was ok. The wings were very under cooked. We were definitely not happy with our meals but we paid and tipped accordingly. We may try another Brazilian steakhouse but definitely will not be back to this one.
I had lots of people say good things about this place. I do believe the staff has a complete change over. From the greatest on earth to the worst in the state of Maryland. Never have I ever had to get up ask a waiter who’s serving our table. The buffet had an Old country buffet feel and the food appears to have been out all day. I wouldn’t give it a star at all if I could. Never again that’s for sure. Now I’m going to call the people that said this place was fire to let them know the light has gone out.
We have been here a few times in the last year. We went last night for a birthday dinner, and man, it has really gone down hill. Our drinks were constantly empty, and we had to ask repeatedly for them to be filled. The salad bar was no where near as good as it used to be. Gone, are the higher end items. The offerings are more in line with a Golden Coral. The meat quality was also not as good. The lamb was dry and stringy. Mostly chicken and pork were offered. When steak items did finally come around, the cuts were just disappointing. We had to wait forever for the meats to come around, also.We had literally already finished all of our sides before our drinks or meat even started circulating. I don't think we will be back. This price point is just not worth it. The place was empty, where we always had to have reservations before. It's realy sad, because we always loved coming here for special occasions. I really hope they can get it together.
In all fairness, I don't eat meat. What most may appreciate about choosing to come here, I was brought here by a work event. I usually do, however, always find things to eat.The deviled eggs and shrimp salad from the salad bar were good. Most everything else looked like they broke open a package or a can and dumped it. The actual shrimp from the salad bar were not seasoned and chewed like rubber.I ordered the salmon. I asked for it "mid", the server said "what that mean?" I told her medium. When it came out it was hammered dry.The server's retention was good, but often walked away too quickly before my coworkers could ask for what they wanted. The server and the manager were in disagreement about what desserts were actually available. The restaurant relies heavily on ambiance and their meat, but the actual content of the food is poor. They also require you to put on plastic gloves to access the salad bar. Most may see this as sanitary, but it's unnecessary and creates waste.
Got seated and waited 28 minutes, NO SERVICE!!!! 4 servers walked by our table multiple times. Not once were we greeted, can I get you something to drink, NOTHING! Needless to say, we left. RIDICULOUS!!! Did I mention we had a reservation.... smh
We went for brunch. It. Was. Delicious! The meats were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The salad bar had a variety of options and delicious salads. You probably could just eat lunch at the salad bar and be just fine. The side bar had some great veggies, potatoes and Mac and cheese options. Mimosas were tasty as well. Great experience!
It was my first time there my experience was so great. I recommend this establishment to anyone who wants fresh, good tasting food and excellent customer service. It's a really classy, cozy spot great for date or family brunch/ dinner.
