The service was very slow. There was 5 other guess in the restaurant. However, the server was friendly, polite, and new, after a loud conversation as to who our server would be. The orders were incorrect. The corrected eggs, with the cheese added this time, were reheated and burnt. We never received our toast and my granddaughter's water had a live roach in it. THAT WAS THE LAST STRAW!!!
They don’t even cook real bacon, it’s the bacon you put in the microwave. And it came out pencil thin.
Great service and management by Kitty working through her team in their guick service, politeness, and positive atmosphere. Very impressived with Kitty not only managing the team, but she cooked, cleaned and served customers as well received them at the door.Job well done to all.
So yeah, I was here on Saturday 3/2019, and usually when I come in I seated with in seconds. There was a couple in front of me no problem, but the MC Braynt or Brandon..decided he want led to have a whole conversation, that lasted longer than you want a both or table..I simply excused myself and walked over to the counter, and I was met by Sarah who took care of me the rest of the evening without in incident. There didn't really appear to be any management on site just one of the waitress who was filling as an acting manager who left to take another waitress home.. not the best experience this visit. Not sure why the environment wasn't as pleasing this go around, but I'm sure Dennys can do better...maybe if Kitty was on duty it would have been a warmer experience.. I'll check out Silver Diner next time I think of stopping for a late-night bite.
Would have given five star if they had the soup readily available. I have never been to a Denny's that did not have even chicken noodles soup ready. I wanted something light to break my Fast.It was my first time dining here...My kids enjoyed their food. Our waitress Lily was great, she was friendly, fast and kept checking on us.The atmosphere was that of a typical Denny's with a bit of old school neon lights and see-in the kitchen look.One thing is they need a bit of an update for the reach-in fridges and gaskets, the doors are beat up and rusty in the inside.The bathrooms were clean and smelled good which is a plus for a diner.It was not a bad experience, and I can understand if an item is not popular, that it not be ready but maybe thaw out the bag of soup (which we know is pre-packaged) so that it does not take 15 mns for a guest to have it. IJS, I guess food cost is more important than guest satisfaction.
The manager Brandi was VERY RUDE!!! We were sitting at the counter and once our food came she continued to keep coming and talking over us. Brandi spit out while talking, so I asked her to please pull her mask up while I was eating. Brandi became loud and began to yell saying " I don't have to wear my mask I wear it because I choose to ". I told her great so please pull it up because she was spitting while talking and I didn't want it on my food. She then told me "NO one told you to come in here to eat, or to sit herer". So I told her she was correct and pushed her back my plate (untouched) and left.
First i haven't been here in over 15 yrs. Definitely wouldn't go back the food wasn't to bad despite them messing my friend order up. The service was ok but tge atmosphere had me uncomfortable not what I remembered back in the day. But again time has changed
Staff was courteous. My steak was cooked well done when I asked for Medium Well. They corrected it with no problem.
best waitress ever. did a wonderful job. food was hot and ever good
Good coffee, salad, bourbon bacon cheeseburger.
