Visited the Waldorf location today and wasn't sold. The place is clean, but the service wasn't up to part. Our waitress didn't give the customer service that she could have given because the place wasn't crowded at all. We ordered appetizers, but keep asking for small plates so that we could share properly, we had to end up eating out of the serving basket because she never delivered the plates until we received our entrée, which by that time we had finished eating our appetizers. The garlic butter for my seafood boil didn't have taste. The District Heights location is better.
The waitress was horrible! She would be the main reason that I'll never return to this facility. She wasn't nasty just lazy. I had to go ask for my own salt from the kitchen, because they only had one salt shaker in the restaurant.The food is pretty good, but the portion sizes are really small. Not only that, but the food is pretty pricey for the serving size.I spoke to the short Asian guy who said he was the manager about the issue. The only thing he said was "okay thank you for coming" with a smile on his face. Maybe I should have talked to the total Asian guy and possibly got a better result.
1st and most importantly, Iwas out enjoying life anddinner with my child that is in her forties. So am not apt to cause a scene. However I went to find the waiter/waitress that was attending our table, And I politely stated while taken another parties pictures, that there's was a mistake with my order. I ordered a meatless entree , but they delivered something with sausage in it. My order that was supposed to be $27.99 , now had been charged 36.99. I attempted to get an explanation from the person that was serving my table. TO NO AVAIL.!! The wait staff became irate and clearly stated they didn't understand my order. Stating some mess about I pointed to something on menu, clearly undermining my intelligence. And not clearly providing quality customer service. This type of service is unacceptable.. I spoke to the manager to inform her that my meal had inadvertently been misunderstood and the price was wrong, at this point your wait staff person rudely interrupted blasting me being at fault rather than apologies for being in a rush or funk or whatever and bashing my order. I paid a higher amount for atrocious service. Never again.
Food was good besides the crawfish (dead loss and not purged), terrible service. Never been to a place where the server could care less. Took 40 mins for me to get my first soda in which i had to walk into the service area to get. Never refilled drinks only stopped by to drop off food, and never came back again. When i went to the bar to order a drink she gave me attitude because i walked to the bar to order a drink but was too busy on her phone to be bothered. They also have an auto 18percent on a check for 6 top. So she didnt even try from the moment we sat down. It was laughable how bad the service was. Didnt get a single persons drink correct when she did arrive.
We received outstanding service from our waiter. The food was delicious and tasty. This location provided a nice atmosphere with large tv screens and hip music. We had a fantastic enjoyable dinner as a family. Thank you!
Went for first time last week with a friend. We were both impressed with all the food! The drinks at happy hour were excellent. And our server Nicole was amazing and so sweet. The place is large and well designed. I see why it’s always packed. I will be back with more friends to enjoy.
I had an ecstatic time with my family. The food was hot. It took about 45 minutes before reaching us, but it was well worth it. I had the headless shrimp boil out. And I drank a mai tai.The waitress, Nicole was beyond amazing. She was above and beyond. Super awesome to have gotten served by her.I meant to take a picture of the food. But, I'll remember that for next time.
OMG, the seafood here is amazing! I had snow crab legs and shrimp and it was very flavorful. I ordered online and it was ready for pick up in no time. I ordered mild and it still had a little kick to it which I loved. The garlic butter was also delicious! I can not express enough how much I enjoyed my meal.
One of my girlfriend's birthday was March 26th. Two of her nieces flew in from Arkansas to surprise her for her 80th. I chose two restaurants that we'd never been to to celebrate, one being Crafty Crab and the other The American Steakhouse. We chose seafood. BIG mistake. The waitress was a total airhead. We waited forever to have her, and then had to remind her over and over about our needs. The food was tasteless, and even the hot sauce on the Cajun orders didn't help. And, after all of these disappointments, the waitress at the end took our credit card to another table. I can honestly say that this was my first and only time visiting here. The worst thing to ever experience at a restaurant is to be full and totally dissatisfied. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!!!
Highly disappointed. 3/23/2022. This was my first time in over a year placing an order and oh boy was it devastating. I ordered a snow crab leg boil with buttery garlic sauce. First there was no sauce. All the my food was dry as a bone. The corn was over cooked and super tough. The crab legs did not taste fresh and were mushy. ?. I ate one - partial piece of corn, then threw it away. The potatoes were so bland and had absolutely no type of flavor at all. The entire bag was a waste of my $65.00. I now remember why I stopped ordering from this place. And to top it off, this store does not have any beef or Turkey sausage.( Only pork mixed) I had to buy and cook my own to add to the dry bag.This morning, I felt all the side effects from this horrible food. (Possibly out dated). I have been sick all morning and running back and forth to the bathroom. NEVER AGAIN.
