With only 1 table being served and me being seated at the bar,it took the bartender over 15 minutes to say anything to me. He spent most of his time talking to the regulars. After I was finally acknowledged he was fine from that point on.
I am old. 40 to be exact. In that time I've eaten at many restaurants. We visited this restaurant at my husband's request for his birthday last month. All that being said, the food was THE WORST I HAVE EVER HAD AT ANY RESTAURANT. EVER. My entree was not fully cooked. The appetizers tasted terrible. And the prices were way to high for such horrible tasting and badly prepared food. The only good part was our waitress. She was incredibly sweet and kind. I'm not sure of her name but she had curly dark colored hair. She is the reason I gave the second star.
It's a good restaurant with a homey feel. The food ( especially wings, shrimp salad, crabcakes) and service is always good. I've never seen it crowded even on Moms Day. Pricing is good also. The crabs look good however I haven't had them . The parking is in a shopping center.
Negative: large crabs were cold, light, mushy, and not good on flavor(where is the seasoning?). The margaritas tasted like sour mix. So bitter you clench your teeth.Positive: waitress was attentive, clean environment and vibe. Requested some honey lemon pepper wings which were not a normal menu item. They made them and they were really good. I would do take out on wings for sure but not returning for crabs or drinks
Worst crab dip we've ever had. Felt bad for the server! If they can't present a good appetizer then I don't want to try anything else! Lost it's charm with the renovation. Now it's a bar in the dining room ?
No complaints, the ribs were spiced just right and the oysters on the half shell were fresh and flavorful. The Southwest Eggrolls were FAB BU LOUS, but don't appear on the online menu, that's not smart considering how good they are.
We were delighted that the restaurant continues to offer the very best seafood, coupled with delightful and creative desserts. Great service too.
Very nice and clean place!! Friendly staff and food is great (not only the taste, but also the portion???). Go visit it when you are in town. Thanks Guys
