I parked about a block away (parking is tight in this area) and walked into this shake shack after work. I love the fact they have multiple options for ordering so there was no wait whatsoever. I could use the app, I could use one of the self-service terminals or simply walk up to the cash register order with with a live cashier. I ordered a single cheeseburger fries and a mango strawberry iced tea. The food was ready in less than 5 minutes. The cheeseburger was hot and perfectly cooked. The lettuce tomato and sauce made it absolutely perfect. The fries were hot delicious and crunchy on the outside. These are undoubtedly some of the best fries I've ever had. I was a bit disappointed with the drink. It was a very watered down and not very flavorful. For a $4.50 plus drink I I expect it to be delicious. Overall I was delighted with my meal.
Man I was really disappointed with the Shake shack location. It is nothing like the one I’m used to and Columbia. First of all I don’t know who they had cooking the burgers but they were so darn greasy that the whole paper that the burgers come in was filled with grease. The other issue I had was that all I could taste was the oils and not much of the toppings and meat of the burger which also disappointed me too. I think that the milkshake that I got was OK as well. In the Columbia branch there are usually smaller cookies which make it easy to suck up in the straw but at this branch you just get these huge cookies in the milkshake so it’s better to have a spoon instead of a straw. In general I wasn’t disappointed enough to give it a two star because I still love Shake shack so I think three stars will suffice considering that the service was OK and the wait time wasn’t so bad either.
Ok, didn’t live up to the hype, I like a well done burger, this was crunchy, 5 Guys has better burgers, Shake Shack arguably better fries. Service was friendly, took longer than 5 Guys.
Cordial employees with a upbeat atmosphere, although seems to be a bit understaffed. Prices are pretty moderate if you can score a promo code online, which I did for a $5 off. I got the bourbon burger (limited time item) with fries and a shake. It was a splendid lunch. Would come again.
This is my first time to this location and it will likely be my last. When I walked in tel he one young lady was counting cash and the other was standing with her. No one greeted me or told me you can order on what was the tablet, so I had to make the assumption. As I'm ordering on the tablet another young lady came to the register and help customers. Definitely think they need to work on customer service. Then my order was incorrect so I had to wait even longer. They took the burger to remake it but left the fried in the bag so I would have ended up with cold fries. I had to ask for them to keep them warm and understandably they couldn't take them back so anther young lady offered a to give me fresh fries once my burger was remade. The lack of customer service initially and the fact that my order was wrong made me not even want to food.
For a fast food/casual restaurant, Shake Shack is definitely top notch. Their burgers can sometimes rival ones that I get at actual sit-down restaurants. This location at Towson was good in my opinion. Not sure why the reviews are a bit low.The service was okay and the wait times for our food was a little long, but other than that the food was delicious! Little pricey, but definitely worth the up in quality compared to other places like Five Guys. The burgers always have a generous amount of cheese, and the patty is very flavorful. I would definitely come back to this location!Oh and the atmosphere was nice as well. Could be a nice date spot; its modern and bright but also very casual and inviting. Besides, who doesn’t know about Shake Shack?
Burger luke warm, skimpy on fries. I ate 3 fries prior to picture. Tons of workers in kitchen so not sure what the issue was. Restaurant wasn't full at all. There were several pick up orders. Several ppl that were behind me received their orders first ordered burgers and fries too. Out of napkins too. I was disappointed.
Not the best tasting burger I've ever had by a long shot. The chicken tenders taste straight up nasty in that they do not taste like chicken AT ALL! The Chicken Tenders taste like deep fried well seasoned chicken paste. McDonald's Chicken McNuggets taste far better and cost less. The tea was good. The french fries are of a serviceable quality but no where near what I'd call delicious or even good.The real problem with Shake Shack is the food is on par with a good McDonald's but the prices suggest one should expect a higher quality product. I visited with a friend and even he felt the food was so disgusting we made a pact to never visit this place again.I am sad to write this two star review because the counter staff were the kindest most pleasant part of our visit. The staff are exceptional. The ordering and payment system is a bit abysmal since it is a computer driven process that is neither well thought out or intuitive. The facility seems very clean and the atmosphere is very nice.The only thing terribly foul at Shake Shack is the food which is why I had to give Shake Shack a 2 star rating. I had hoped Shake Shack would have been a 5 Guys or a Fuddruckers like experience, NOT EVEN CLOSE! For me Shake Shack is a total nice try but skip it!
I love shake shack. Always down for eating their burgers. But lately i have discovered their burgers are too oily. I am not sure if it’s this location or that’s how they have started making them :/ I recently had truffle burger, taste was good but it was way too oily and didn’t taste fresh.
Great friendly place mostly college kids. Gee no surprise with TU down the street. My wife and I (60) felt right at home. I screwed up and order a stuffed mushroom burger thinking it was a mushroom Swiss hamburger. Totally my fault. When Lance the manager came around asking if everything was ok I chuckled and said I never ate a vegetarian anything in my life. It was good thou. Anyway he offered and got me a burger that had meat. Thank You Lance!!
