The owners are the kindest people in town. The food is tremendous. Everything is made from scratch; comes to your table perfectly prepared. They have often surprised our family with “on the house” treats, and they are always accommodating and customer centric. We’ve been enjoying Mia Sushi’s casual dining for 7 years and have recommended them to all of our friends. The dining area is small, so you may want to consider this if you have a large group.
Worst sushi I have ever had. the rice was hard & old, the Salom & tuna was tasteless & very recently thawed from being frozen. Miso soup such a simple soup was bland no flavor. To be quite frank everything was pretty disgusting. I was a bit upset about spending over 50.00 and threw the majority of it away. My advice if you are a true sushi connoisseur as I am stay away from this place, it may actually sway you not to ever want sushi. And shame on management for serving such low quality food at market rate. May I suggest also reading recent yelp reviews on this place before you decide to spend your hard earned money
Got the sushi lunch combo, both rolls with fish and avocado. The fish and avocado were fresh and flavorful. The owners were warm and friendly and made the rolls fresh in front of me. They even threw in an extra roll for free (making it 18 pieces total). All that for $9! The appearance is a little run down, but don't let that fool you; this place slaps! Highly recommend stopping by for lunch!
Super kind owners, cheap and good sushi!
This place looks unassuming but the sushi rolls were great! I’d eat from here again. I only waited 10-15 mins from placement of order to when it was ready and they gave me an extra roll of one I ordered!
Good food. And price is quite cheap for the amount of sushi they give you. The staff was also really nice, and they gave us a whole extra two rolls! They also called to let us know that they were running a little late, which my sister and I really appreciated, not every restaurant does that. I guess I can kind of see why some people don't like their sushi because there is no seasoning on the rolls, but that can be easily fixed by topping it with your favorite sauces and seasonings at home. In my opinion, the fish was also tasty, and they were extremely generous considering the price. Will be coming here again.
Excellent food as always, most excellent salad dressing, but please switch back to your original soy sauce. The new sauce is too salty.
I'm not sure why there are bad reviews of this place cause it's great! My sibling and I got it on grubhub to try something new and I got the nigiri. The food was really good and they even us extra rolls on the house. The fish was very tasty and the miso soup was good. Before getting my order, they called ahead to tell me that the order would be a little late because it was a busy day and they ran out of rice. They needed to make more rice, which was understandable. I'm glad they called me instead of leaving me in the dark. The food wasn't even that late, only about 15 mins or so. This is my new go to sushi place and I highly recommend it.
