I catered a fairly large order from here for a sales meeting. The manager of the store was incredibly helpful and helped carry my food to the car and double checked that everything was in the bag. Staff here is great. Best customer service I’ve received in along time when dealing with their catering services.
The food was delicious, I hadn't had Mission BBQ in awhile. I especially loved the cornbread, I wish I'd purchased extra. Well, I ate my pulled pork sandwich for lunch and I got ribs for dinner. I also purchased sandwiches for the family. I know that I am repeating myself but the food was so good, I believe that I can say it twice, DELICIOUS!
As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by appetizing BBQ aromas and several warm, friendly staff members! I had never been here before and the team was super nice, walking me through the experience of this place! In the end, I got a sampler plate with moist brisket, baby back ribs, and spare ribs.Everything tastes phenomenal! You could taste all the spices rubbed into the meat and the authentic smoked flavors of the meat. , The texture was fall-apart tender and juicy, melting in my mouth! Accompanying this meal was an array of 7 sauces on each table! Sampling them and finding my favorites was very enjoyable! This was EPIC barbecue!!!On top of the great food and INCREDIBLE, warm, positive customer service, this place supports our veterans, too!

First Visit To Mission BBQ! I'm Familiar With Their Pro-Military Support! I Asked The Cashier Whether They Offered Senior Citizen Discounts. The Answer Was... No!I Ordered Pulled Chicken, Mac And Cheese, Collard Greens, With An Assortment Of BBQ Sauces!I Noticed That One Of The Managers Resembled Actor Anthony Edwards. I Asked Him If He Was Ever Told That He Favored A Movie Star... And He Responded Anthony Edwards!!??My Food Was Good. I Just Wish They Provided Senior Discounts, So I Could Afford More Frequent Visits!!
I've been going to Mission BBQ since May 12, 2018. On today Saturday, March 5, 2022 was my first time visiting this new location in Towson, MD. The cashier who took my order really wasn't courteous nor friendly towards me while I was placing my order with her that was the first red flag. I asked the cashier to tell the cook who was making my order to add the barbecue sauce on the side not on my turkey but instead they still put it on my turkey which was the second red flag by not following my instructions. The manager was nice enough to give me a card for a Free sandwich for my next visit. Unfortunately I won't be coming back to this location ever again. This food is horrible the only thing was good was the cornbread. The Mac and Cheese was awful the macaroni noodles wasn't even cooked all the way, the Green Beans taste sour, the Turkey is too dry and over cooked. For this to be a new location maybe y'all might want to hire some real chefs and cooks who has a great passion when it comes to preparing and cooking food instead of just hiring anyone who really doesn't have a passion when it comes to cooking food. This was definitely a waste of money $17.21
The food was great and really fast. I wasn't eating my salmon, not because anything was wrong with it but because I wasn't feeling it at the time (pregnancy hormones will do that to you). The manager, Aaron, came over and realized I wasn't eating and gave me a different meal right away no questions asked. Honestly best service I have had in a place in a long long time. You can tell they really care about their customers. Aaron made a simple lunch an impressionable experience for my husband and I and we will definitely be going back!
I had a craving for some beef brisket and did feel like cooking. OMG! I stopped at Mission BBQ for beef brisket and it exceeded my wildest expectations. Great experience from the service to the food. Kudos!
No matter the location, Mission BBQ is consistent for taste. However the Towson location has a wonderful person in "Madison". From her first greeting to actually sitting down and engaging my 5 year old while waiting for our order, it gave me a moment to gather my thoughts after school and prepare for the rest of the errands and evening. My daughter was still raving about her new "best friend " long into the evening. Thanks for making one of many stops more pleasant for having taken the time.
I have never written a review before but I needed to for this place. Food was really good, better than any other BBQ in the area. Anthem at noon was great and the employees are amazing. I cannot wait to come back.
