I got the oxtail and curry goat mixed platter. Service was great place was spotless and cool due to it being hot outside. The oxtails and curry goat were undeniably tender and juicy that was amazing. Crisp veggies the rice was great. It was a tad sweet but I do add sugar to my rice so it was fine with me.I'll be returning to try the rest of the menu 10/10 MUST TRY AGAIN
I ordered the oxtail dinner with rice and peas. I'm familiar with Jamaican cooking, it was a little disappointing especially after the raving reviews and the cost of the food. The oxtails needed more seasoning, a little more cooking time and a lot more on the plate. The rice and peas were sweet. I don't know where that can come from it was not good. My partner had the jerk chicken and that was actually pretty good. Could just be my taste preference but the service was great and the place was spotless.
The food was delicious and fresh, and they were prompt with the delivery. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves Caribean foods.
The food is absolutely delicious, tasty, and well seasoned. Excellent customer service and clean atmosphere. There’s a good variety of dishes and beverages. I really love the beef patties too. My favorite is the oxtail and the menu is affordable. Parking is easy to find on the outside. Check them out! You’ll be glad you did and tell them “cousin Devon” sent you and get a little discount.
Beef patty was bland, oxtails are oily and rice and peas were not fresh. It’s a different quality of food each time I go. Brown stew chicken was ok though.
My wife and I love jerk chicken, so always looking to try a new place. Got two sides of jerk and yellow rice carry-out last week and we thoroughly enjoyed it, chicken had a good kick but not too over-powering and rice was tasty as well. Kerr was very friendly taking order over phone and at pick-up. Only downside is that it is so hard to park anywhere around there, but it is what it is in Towson these days. Highly recommend trying this place, I know we will be back.
The food is amazing, had the curry chicken which was super flavorful. Very clean and the vibe was great def will be back!
Been to this restaurant several times. I love the authentic flavors provided by this Jamaican chef. The chef is very professional and has a great personality.
Jerk chicken was average. Curry chicken very favorable. Rice cooked perfect. Veggies good. The Mac and cheese was horrible. It was Kraft Mac and cheese in a box stuffed with cheese. That is not traditional Jamaica Mac and cheese. Very disappointed.
I don't typically write reviews but they're a new business starting out in the pandemic. I've had their goat curry, jerk chicken salad, oxtail, and beef patties. I've been struggling not to come back and spend all my money but it's so good. Especially the goat curry
