We were invited to perform face painting and balloon twisting for the Cinco de Mayo party last night, and what a fantastic party it was! They had a band as well, the outdoor area was perfect, staff was very friendly. Everyone had a great time
Great place for a casual lunch. Quiet enough to hear what your table mates were saying. I was surprised that you placed your order at the counter. They did deliver the meals to the table so no standing around after ordering. The food was good but not huge portions. They make no exceptions in the build your own entree. For example: you cannot trade cold garnishes and cheese for the grilled veggies which they consider a "protein". There was a $4 charge to do this.
Very decent Mexican food. I had a chimichanga with pork and it was pretty good. Felt like it could have been a little crispier, but the flavors and size were great. My daughter had a pork burrito bowl and that was excellent. Service was a little slow, but I could tell they were understaffed. I hold that against no one these days, just be aware.No table service, just order in the line and the food will be brought to you. Basically, pick your item and then select your protein and toppings/fillings/sauces. Very customizable.
Last night 3 of us went and checked out Felipe's for the first time. We arrived around 5 and caught a couple of drinks during Happy Hour before we had our dinner. We each had a couple of drinks before we ate. I had a couple of beers, my friend 2 glasses of wine and my girlfriend had 2 Margaritas on the rocks. and the glasses were not very large. We got served around 6:15-6:30 and the food was OK. So at this point in time it was around 7:30 and my friend and girlfriend wanted to have one more drink. He was going to get a beer and she one more margarita. So they went up to the counter and they refused to serve my girlfriend, because in their opinion she had had too much alcohol. Two small drinks over a 2.5 hour time frame and she just ate? To say the least we were stunned and she wasn't even driving!! Now we are not children, we range in ages from 66-70 and none of us have ever been cut off anytime anywhere and were not big drinkers to say the least. My girlfriend has a very exuberant personality and I think this confused the management. Two stars only because a couple of the employees who served us were nice. The guys name was Ray and I did forget the young lady's name but she was great. I don't think will be returning anytime soon.
food was salty. you did not recieve a good amount of food for how expensive it was. i I probably wont go back.
Went to this place on a whim when we saw their happy hour deal. $2 tacos was just to good to pass up lol and you still got a ton of food and it tasted great! We loved their side bar for condiments for the tacos as well. Drinks were cheap and STRONG! The management seemed to really care about their customers experience - shout out to Addie and Becky for being so personable!
First time here, just wanted something quick around the area and this was the only spot that sounded good. Super glad we stopped in! Becky behind the bar was phenomenal and nothing short of friendly! Food came out super fast, and the queso Becky made was awesome! Highly recommend this place for some tacos and a margarita, or 3…. We will be back!!
Awesome place for a quick Mexican eat. Nice bar area with an amazing selection of tequila too. I visited on a whim with my kiddos and we all found menu items that we loved! I'll be back kiddo free so I can indulge in that tequila selection. Thank you Cyrus, Rose and Ray for awesome service! I'll be back!!
Awesome atmosphere! Very tasty Mexican dishes. Great family prices. I wasn’t expecting to leave as happy & full as I did. Thanks Becky and thanks Will the Bartender for great service. We’ll make this our Saturday spot after gymnastics lol
This place is amazing. The margaritas and the food are great. But what separates this place from others is the staff. Will and Becky are the bomb. Hands down, GOAT. They made our visit amazing. Nice, friendly…made us feel like family. You want tacos and margaritas…this is the place.
