As someone who worked as a waitress all through college I understand things can go wrong because of the server, the kitchen or the restaurant itself. Unfortunately all 3 failed us tonight. The food was excellent. But the portions were small. It took a long time to get the food and my drink was forgotten. I’d recommend trying the place and hoping for a better server and result. Definitely potential.
No beer on tap at the bar. That's a big deal for me. What makes this spot unique is its drink menu. Its high quality and substantial. Their house-made cocktail list is very good. A mix of old and new.and things you won't find anywhere else.100% you should stop in for a drink at the bar.
What a nice place to visit on a Sunday. Food was lukewarm at best when my table(7) received their food. No complaints on taste. The consistency of the plating was mentioned as 1 person had strawberries/berries and someone else just had strawberries. Our waitress was nice and friendly but possibly overwhelmed not sure. I may give them another try at some point.
This was my first visiting this establishment. I was surprised to see the main dinner area full with customers right around noon time. The dinner area is medium sized which makes it perfect for an intimate dinner date. The bar area is also very nice and you won’t be disappointed in the wine list. I order breakfast and loved the potatoes and the omelette was delicious. Make sure to try thr potatoes. I will definitely have to visit again later in the day to check the bar atmosphere. Customer service was also great. The waiter was very pleasant and had a great energy about him.
I visited Bread & Circuses Bistro with a co-worker while on my lunch break, I had no clue this hidden gem existed. Immediately the ambiance sucks you in! It's well decorated, and seems upscale once you go into the dining room. We were greeted and seated right away upon entering. The hostess was so beautiful and kind. I ordered French toast, home fries, bacon and eggs. I couldn't finish it all but it was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the home fries! I'll be sure to return. I'd love to see what the night life looks like as I was left with a great first impression for lunch.
Kaitlyn was amazing! Espresso steak was amazing! Mashed sweet potatoes were amazing! Oreo cheesecake was amazing!
Lovely place to come for a glass of wine at happy hour at the little bar. I haven’t had the pleasure of a full dinner yet but even small plates, soups and sandwiches are well-thought and always more special than expected. I haven’t been back since the pandemic and am excited to taste what’s new!
We waited forever for our food. When I received my scallops – they were overcooked and rubbery. Overpriced artic char $42 We did have a great server.
Our server Katheryn made our night. Her food selections/recommendations were on point. She had us smiling all night. Great food. Incredible wine list.
Quaint and professional. Great entrees and appetizers. Fried oysters were divine. Beef shortrib meal was fantastic. Salmon naked entree was perfectly portioned.Not too crazy about the bread pudding dessert, needed more flavor, whipped cream, or iced cream, or more sauce.Cocktails were outstanding.Food and drinks were slow to the table. Maybe they were short staffed?
