I had the smoked salmon salad, and it was delicious. My friend had the smoked salmon bagel, which came with salad and potato chips on the side. We drank iced coffee drinks, which were nice and refreshing. This is a great local spot.
It took really long to get the orders out, we came in to grab some coffee and it took 30 min to get the coffee out, wasn’t busy at all either. The drinks themselves were alright. I ordered a cappuccino no flavor, too much foam and the coffee itself tasted dark and bitter. The place itself is rly cool place to sit down

Zeds is the BEST.I used to live in the neighborhood and would frequent Zeds often. Since moving further away, I still try to visit when I can - but definitely missing being close by!I love the ambiance. It's a sweet little cafe that feels like someone's vintage living room. There's also an outdoor patio that is right in front of the alley with a cool mural. When dining in, they give you your drink in a vintage mug. And I love when I get the same mug. It became a thing where I would just take a photo each time, to see what I got.The service is excellent. Always warm and friendly!And most importantly, the coffee here is on point. I absolutely love the hot coconut lattes and coconut almond chai are my two go to drinks!They also have a delicious vegan apple pie that is just out of this world!A Silver Spring gem!
Very wonderful place to eat only recommendation that I would say is that you need to use gloves when making people's coffee please use gloves when you're making people's coffee but there are a wonderful customer service

Great non-chain cafe in DTSS with a cozy vibe. Staff work hard and are super sweet. Be patient and enjoy the journey!
