What's not to love about this place, some of the best Chinese food that I have ever had, and that is coming from someone who considers themselves a meat eater. Delicious guilt-free Chinese vegetarian food, give it a shot if you haven't already!
I’m pregnant and my husband is allergic to most seafood, but we really wanted sushi so we ordered from Vegetable Garden. It was really good! Definitely hit the spot and will order again.
This is my favorite vegan Asian restaurant. Their faux chicken is great, and they are quite willing to accommodate dietary restrictions.
Ive been eating here for about 15 years now, and have followed it to where it is now from the old location. Food continues to be top notch. I will continue to support them through the pandemic, so that maybe when they're back on their feet, they will be able to serve their cilantro wonton soup again ?
First time and was very impressed! Delicious vegan dish. Highly recommend. Very healthy and good!
I love this place sooo hard. My goto dishes are the curry rice with tofu and the tofu balls with kale but I’ve never been disappointed with anything. Also - the sesame balls are a great after dinner treat.
If you're a vegan, this is a must for your restaurant to-do list. The food is wonderful!The only concern is that the Vegetable Garden is only open for carry-out, with no plans to resume indoor dining anytime in the near future.

I used to come to Vegetable Garden when they were located in Rockville. During their last year in Rockville, the quality declined and I was disappointed. As a result, I haven't been eager to visit their new(ish) location in Silver Spring. Recently, we were in the area and so my lady and I thought we would give them a try. I have to say... I'm really glad we did.This restaurant is a lot smaller than their Rockville location, but it's perfect and quite cozy. This location is actually right in the Leisure World retirement community. So it's a bit farther from me now, but if I'm in the area - I'd definitely stop in!We had...Eight Treasure Eggplant - Diced Eggplant, Shiitake Mushroom, Yellow Squash, Zucchini, Red Bell Pepper, Dried Cranberries, Cashew Nuts & Firm Tofu in Spicy Sauce.Garden Feast - Soy & Wheat Gluten Beef, Chicken, Snow Peas, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Shiitake Mushroom, Tomatoes, Carrots, Jicama & Kale in Brown Sauce.Vegetable Soba Noodle - Organic Soba Buckwheat Noodles, Carrots, Snow Peas, Yellow Squash, Black Mushroom, Bean Sprouts, Cauliflower & Broccoli in Light Brown Sauce.Everything was so delicious!
