I got 6 chicken wings and it was horrible. Dry, too much skin. Rice and peas were dry and hard. I should have gotten the ice cream to on the safe side.
This place gets 5-stars just for having ginger flavored ice cream. Their selection of authentic West Indian flavors are excellent and not the kind of thing you find just anywhere. I go out of my way to come here when ever I anywhere nearby. They have other authentic dishes too, including salt-fish Pattie’s and beef patties. That said, trust me and try the ginger and guava ice cream.Parking is often tight right in front. Sometimes you have to take your life in your hands to get out of the lot and go left. So, make the right with traffic and play it safe to a U-turn.
"Locally made creamy and fruity ice cream with the breeze of tropical"3 scoops of ice (Lucuma ,Guava and Sour Sop) for $6.6. (+ PRO: savor of tropical fruit; creamy ice cream)(-CON: missing the actual taste of the fruit)Locally made ice cream(the manufacturer is in Rockville, MoCo ) with a touch of exotic tropical fruits; we found it right after our trip back from Miami. We miss the Sour Sop juice badly and hope to cure our ‘nostalgia’ there. The ice cream carries the zest of the fruit. The Guava flavor has the chunk of the jam, but overall none of the flavors we order taste like the actual fruit. Btw they got a decent beef patty.
Best coconut Icecream and Milkshakes it’s always super good and thick !! and I always get the beef patties make sure you try every flavor ?
Very nice spot with good carribean food options(jerk & curry chicken patties, jerk chicken wings, & coco bread! Good customer service as well.
Lawd ah Mercy (Shabba voice)Great cream!Patties, wonderful.
Best ice cream in all of the DMV, maybe even East Coast. As the name implies, flavors range from the traditional to delicious mango, orange, pineapple/orange, passion fruit, sour sap, rum raising grape nut etc. It is not possible to eat just one scoop!!!
Pleasant experience, great customer service, and good Ice cream as well.

Well. Unfortunately, this place has deteriorated considerably. Apparently there is a new owner and the people they hired to work here are absolutely awful and clearly don't want to be there. The ladies are curt, rude, and have no sense of customer service.I walked in to order some ice cream. I was the only one in the store at the time of placing my order. As I was in the middle of placing my order with one staff member (like, I was literally speaking), a cashier with blonde hair and black roots (only way to describe her) yells down the isle "Ma'am, are you ready?!" I had not even finished speaking to the one staffer.I ordered 3 scoops, and the staffer mistakenly made the scoops too big so it was spilling over. Instead of simply scraping off the sides, they had to take it into the back and literally took 5 minutes to bring it back. It was the most odd thing ever. When they brought it back it was toppled over in a paper bag, placed on the counter and abandoned. No "Thanks for waiting" nothing. I handed it back telling them because....the bag was wet ......with ice cream since it had toppled over. Blonde hair/black roots simply took it out of the bag, tried to close it, put it BACK in the wet bag and gave it to me.I had to ASK for a fresh bag and clean the cup off myself. This is probably the worst customer service experience I've had in a long time. Gone are the warm, kind staffers that used to work there. They have replaced them with teen, summer camp rejects who can't even make a simple cup of ice cream. What a careless way to lose customers. These ladies need to be trained or replaced. If not, I don't see this establishment lasting very long.
